As much as I love the denim and details I have to admit defeat that TCB aren't a good brand for me. Two pairs bought two pairs sold on.

As a slim guy who leans towards slimmer fits their offerings just don't work well  ( absolutely no Diss on the brand/guys)  due to the ratio between rise/thigh/waist.

A few open and honest emails from Ryo on the issues with their slimmer fits shows how genuine the TCB are and I respect their integrity.

Any tall fellas have experience with TCB tops?
I'm 196cm (6′5″) and have been eyeing the Ranchman but I'm scared the bottom button will be way too high.

First post btw, but have been lurking for quite a while. Absolutely love my TCB 50's jeans. Have worn them pretty much 24/7 since I got them this spring.

Don’t know about body length, but whenever I’ve tried on their tops the sleeves have been way too short

I think this has more to do with torso length but I can say that I'm 183 cm and am just barely able to tuck my ranchman denim shirt, it is relatively short. I did not experience any issue with the sleeves as mentioned above me though. My shirt is a size 42 and been washed quite a few times so I can give you some measurements if you need it.

@sven I have one and the bottom button is high on the placket, which might likely cause an issue. Looking at the product page on TCB’s shopify the placement is still high.

I seem to remember somebody (or a Western store??) asking TCB to add another button lower down and they did so - could be an option. They’re easy to communicate with so you could always ask for measurements of the shirt and button placement to work out if good.

Thanks guys. Sounds unlikely that it'll fit then.
I'll wait for an opportunity to try it in person rather than ordering and having to send it back.

@sven

I don't have the ranchman but have the dude ranch shirt.  Im 6'4" and while the bottom snap is high the shirt actually comes down pretty long.  However the sides are sort of comically high in comparison so thats been my issue with the fit

Is the general consensus to wear same tag size for 40s and 60s as 50s?

Edit: I wear tag size 34 in the 50s

I would’ve needed a size or two up in the ‘40s, but mostly ‘cause of how much slimmer they are through the crotch, seat, & thighs—I could see the waist itself having stretched out if necessary

edit: This is relative to the ‘50s

^ I wear a size 31 in the '50s, size 32 in the '40s. The hip portion of the '50s seems to be more stretchy on the '50s denim, I tried wearing a size 31 in the '40s and couldn't get them to fit no matter what.

Never worn suspenders before, but as a big fan of both TCB & MOTO I’ve been getting increasingly excited to see what they come up with

Anyone planning on getting a pair?

With mister Volvo being swamped with work I'll share the workload of the organizing the tour.

To our great delight we've successfully talked Inoue-san into another SUFUxTCB adventure. Following the TCB 50's contest, the introduction of the ranchman shirt and the upcoming TCB 20's contest in 2018, we're now also doing a world tour - starring a prototype of the very jean we will rock in the next TCB contest. Inoue and his crew is basing the jeans off of a vintage pair of Levi's from the 1920's he got a hold of back in april and will also rock a completely new denim.

For the tour we'll have a size 32 for our disposal. Measurements will hopefully be sorted out.

We're kicking off the tour at TCB's very own factory in Kurashiki where I will pick up the jeans during the last week of july.

The current roster of TCB rockstars:
      Bobbo (Sweden)
      Paul T (UK)
      Red Dragon (Indonesia)
      NYC surfer (USA)
      JaredLee (USA)
      Ooms (Indonesia)
      Foxy (Germany/Russia)
      Ironhorse (Taiwan)
      Articulate (USA)
      Jigsaw (Indonesia)
      Holio Cornolio (UK)
      Mandel9000 (NOR)

      Subs:
      Reverendglasseye
      Louisbosco
      FeloniusMonk

The roster is full for now, although it won't hurt having a few subs!

The original and what we're looking forward to:
