Roy post soak, with the IH kanreki shirt. Probably my highest waisted jeans, but they may have some shrink left.

I haven't been wearing them as I was thinking of using them for the new DWC. I'm now hesitating with some equally high waisted Bob Dong 23oz. Will be wearing them in the next few days to decide...

^winning bid exceeded $30,000! What am I missing? The bidders knew that Roy himself didn't actually come with the pants, right? Tell me this was some sort of charity auction.

The top bid gets them for free, Roy posted it up as a bit of a stunt.

sure was hella fun to watch... at one point I was tempted but I'm far from being a 31 and figured it would be a bit of a "d*ck move" to do so... denim karma and all

Anyone know how much Cone denim Roy has left?

^My only regret in the denim world (outside of sizing wrong), is selling my Roy Contest jeans.....Luckily I kept the boxers that came with it, and have a boxful of scraps from Roy's very first run of publicly sold jeans, and from the Roy Contest itself, which has IMO some of the greatest Cone fabrics ever produced. Sad to read about the closing....

It is such awful news. Obviously Roy and LVC are the biggest losers.

I always feel those Roy contest jeans are probably the best denim I've ever owned. They looked great at every stage from new and glossy to old and knackered. I imagine he will be stocking up with as much as he possibly can but obviously that's a big cash outlay. I hope his long relationship with the company will help him get a good deal.

Don't know how many people know this, but as i recall, Cone were one of Roy's first champions right from the start. He was making one-offs for them well before he started making jeans.

Really just don't wear it much, and would like to put the money towards a jacket or jeans.

(Have a Roy chambray that I'll be keeping as well)

Thanks @MJF9, sadly I think they’ll be too small. The pair I’m interested in is BNWT and still raw, so potentially I could buy them and only cold soak but I tend to wash my jeans regularly. I was looking at the old Self Edge size charts and thought they might work if I was gentle with them.  If anyone has a pair of SF01 in size 36 let me know. Honestly, that goes for about anything Roy that I don’t have, always interested in size 36 jeans and XL shirts from Roy.

Oh boy, the new patch for the next pair of Roy jeans. I’m so in, might be his best patch yet...

View Advert Roy Denim Very Nice Pocket Bag Jeans 32 unhemmed
I have a new pair of Roy's Very Nice Pocket Bag Jeans, sold exclusively at Self Edge and still with the pocket tag affixed. The wings of the tag are a bit wrinkled, they came to me like that.
Heads up that the waist is smaller than my other size 32 Roys, which preclude me from wearing them. I wore them around the house for an hour or two, so there are some light creases behind the knees, but those would quickly work out (see photo).
If I recall and based on the leg twist, these are cold rinsed (can't confirm because Self Edge took the page down for them).
Inseam is 35.5" (original hem), hem is 8.5"

View Advert [PRICE DROP 6/3] Iron Heart 633s-14, Sz. 30x30 (Chainstitched)
Only worn a couple times around the house. Thought I could make them fit, but alas, they're just too small for me I removed the tags already, but still have the receipt.
If you have a 31 in this indigo pair or 32 in the OD version, I'd consider a trade. Otherwise, just a straight sell.

They were purchased from Self Edge and chainstitched to 30" for $310 total shipped, so a bit of a discount here.
Measurements are exactly as listed on the selfedge page here: https://www.selfedge.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=1596&search=Iron+Heart+633s-14&description=1
