The rust on mine is very recent. And I’m guessing might even rub off. It’s pretty superficial (like me! )

I love statements like this, because I almost guarantee that in reality you wouldn’t prefer that. Not at all. -
Thanks. Too small unfortunately. I’m looking for an XL, possibly a L. Never mind. I’ll catch the next one.

@Alec Leamas I missed them on Bears. Must have been the only 8hr period I hadn’t checked, for a week or more. I ordered a navy patch pocket hoodie from them and had it canceled afterward a while ago too. Frustrating. Edit: I decided I’d pay over the odds and order from Burg & Schild, as I wanted the Cream colour. Turns outs shipping is €50, bringing the total to €142 for a top that was approx £50-70 shipped from Japan. I can’t justify that, or rather, I can’t live with paying that much extra. 😉

If the shirts are 100% cotton, and imported from Japan then Chat GPT has estimated the cost incl VAT, Duties and handling fees (excluding shipping) to be £206.60-£210.70

Well, obviously I agree…!

One of my favourite parts of the world right there @ATWM My Dad actually lives by Blencathra so I’m up in the Lakes as often as possible. It’s lovely to be able to enjoy the days and scenery without worrying about ‘needing ’ to photograph it all. Glad to hear you had a good time and the weather was kind.

Thanks for the kind messages everyone. We’re all doing well. Sleep pattern is nonexistent but seems to be working somehow. Our baby girl (unnamed currently) is going great, shes small but mighty, and has a very cheery disposition. Im managing to wear the WOM Jeans each day, even if it’s at 3am for the feed and change! I’ll keep you posted! Thanks.

Any suggestions of where to pick a copy of the recent Japanese ‘War Denim’ book? -
My first question is…Do you have Jeans hanging nails on your fence? That’s a great idea!
-
Lovely email yesterday @rodeo bill As someone who’s looking to move soon, it was interesting to see how your location has had an influence on your outlook and as a result your designs. I hope you and the family are well and enjoying this new stage in your lives? Looking forward to the new US based products as they come. It’ll be interesting to see the next release of denim jeans and jackets that have all been sewn locally to you now. Michael.

ABSOLUTELY NOT!..BLASPHEMY!

These made me think of the recent Warehouse Lot.1333 1910-1915 Overall, albeit in indigo, but some similarities too.

Very sorry to hear your news @bartlebyyphonics . Take care of yourself buddy.

I understand this. Just found it an interesting coincidence that pairs from both end of the war had the same set of features.
-
Thanks. It’s exactly that…I’ve seen the S601xx second half of 1945 pair from Freewheelers and also the S1003xx (S1000xx) 1942 pair from Warehouse, both featuring similar details. The new 1945 release from Freewheelers is what had me wondering. I hadn’t realized that those features were produced throughout that period, and not just at the start or end.
