Looks great! I'll be getting that jacket when S&S get a rerun, Neil told me they'd be getting some more in a few months.

Fit pics after a warm wash and a short trip in the dryer.

That is true, I don’t doubt that some of them are running things as ethically as possible. I just wouldn’t be surprised if there were some out there that are not.

I tried out the Taobao thing once and was spurned by insanely inaccurate sizing. I also found the transit times to be very long. I bought like 5 things and only one worked out, so it was a waste of money. I doubt I’ll try it again to be honest. As far as ethics go that might be a different discussion. Makes me wonder if these Chinese repro brands are trying to make things ethically or not. Given the prices it makes me think that they aren’t.

@mpukas that’s correct, it’s a period correct detail of some workshirts of the 30s/40s if I recall correctly. I was a little hesitant because I don’t own any shirts like that but it doesn’t looks weird at all. Bryan has some great articles about the history of the workshirt on his blog.

@mlwdp I feel your pain. That’s why I caved and bought some PBJs.

Just received both of my Atlas shirts, these are really top notch. The salt and pepper chambray feels heavy duty. I'm happy with the fit, although I might give them a warm wash to see if I can get a tiny bit of shrinkage. Will get some fit pics when I get around to it. Thanks @Iron Horse, looking forward to more releases in the future.

I tried PMing the guy and he never responded. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Warehouse

I’m kind of tempted by the new denim on the DD-1003X’s. Not that I need another pair of jeans. From what I understand these are only available as one wash online. I think the translation of the IG post mentioned the raw version are only available in store. I could be wrong though.

I think the fabric is the same, but I’ll have to do a side by side with my fatigue pants.

Super bummed about how small the new Lot 2212 jacket came up. 28 in. back length and 23 in. sleeves on a size 42.

    WAYWT 2019 (denim edition)

I know right? A bit surprising. They're quite comfortable even through the rise is a little low, I could never get the 714's over a pair of engineer boots personally.

    WAYWT 2019 (denim edition)

@beautiful_FrEaK actually no, sold the 714's awhile back and replaced them with some 737's. I think they look more tapered with the engineer boots.

If they’re no longer made by CSF I feel like they should reconsider their pricing IMO.

    Orslow

Picked up this OrSlow military shirt from Independence while in Chicago. Honestly surprised that I took a 4 in this, always imagined I'd be a 5 in OrSlow shirts and jackets. At the time it was out of necessity as it was cooler than I'm used to, but in reality it's a shirt that I've wanted for a long time. Excuse the dog photobombing the shots.

    RESOLUTE by hayashi-san!

@d-rew12 here you go! I like these a lot, just haven't worn them much since I've got so many others in rotation... Waist: 37 in. Front rise: 11.5 in. Back rise: 16 in. Thigh: 13.5 in. Knee: 9.5 in. Hem: 9 in. Length: 31 in.

    That T-shirt is great Volvo.

    RESOLUTE by hayashi-san!

@d-rew12 I can get some measurements for you this evening, the denim stretches fairly easily. The rise on the 711 is a little lower than I like, but wearable. I think if I were to buy a pair of 710 I would probably go up to a 38 since they’re a bit slimmer through the leg and thigh.

    Self Edge, SF/NY/LA/PDX - updates & info

Thinking about getting one, just wondering if they taper as much as some other FH shirts from the chest to the opening.

    Sugar Cane Denim

@Maynard Friedman surprisingly no! They do look nice though. I’m trying to wear what I’ve already collected.

    Ooe-Yofukuten & Co.

So when’s the next Ooe contest? These are so perfect.
  23. I get their emails and they have some nice stuff listed, but like you said their prices make zero sense. Lots of stuff that's essentially priced as new with visible wear on it. Don't know how it's profitable at all.

    Pure Blue Japan

Very nice, I’m thinking about getting the 5 pocket variety now that I know the relaxed taper cut from PBJ works for me
