Their DHL shipping option is always crazy fast. My PBJ chambray shipped from Japan to Austin, TX in 3 days.

As promised here's comparison shots of the Black Seed denim in various stages of wear. Unworn/unsoaked, washed twice and washed countless times. Unworn pair of LeRoy's, twice washed Indigo Lovers, countlessly washed Test Lot jeans.

@Lazerr not sure if they're doing another run of these or not, these were a special run dyed by Green Matters Natural Dye Company.

Interesting, just not a fan of the style? Also funny you mention the ranger mocs in natural CXL, I already preordered a pair of the crowdfunded version. Not the red sole variant obviously, but I prefer the brown sole actually. Good eye, that's a nice fit on both guys. Maybe I can pull them off...

@Lazerr the fit on this one is nice, the XL measures 23 in. in the chest and 27 in. in length. The normal black pima tees measure 22.5 chest / 29 length, so slimmer and longer. I prefer shorter, boxier tees.

    Definitely not that cool...

Managed to get one of the indigo garment dyed pima cotton tees. Really nice variation of color compared to my rope dyed indigo tees. The pima cotton is super soft, and the indigo dyed version made the tee a bit shorter which is good. The normal two packs seem too long based on the size charts.

I'm on the fence a little since I think they might be too preppy for my style. I haven't seen many photos of guys rocking penny loafers with straight legged jeans.

Looks to be the case, man it's been a long time since I've seen that old BOW blog. That takes me back.

What’s the general consensus when it comes to penny loafers? I’ve never worn a pair, but I’m kind of into the Rancourt natural CXL ones that they’re running their crowdfunding campaign for. Here’s a photo of a pair worn for a year. I think they’d be a nice summer shoe, easy on and off. Also growing up my grandpa wore a beat up pair around the house so I remember them as being generally cool in a grandpa-chic kind of way.

I still remember being like 18 visiting some friends back in Georgia that were having a house party. Drank like 8-10 Natty’s, went to Waffle House after and had a very unpleasant experience. Never again. Over in Singapore the cheap options were Tiger Beer and Bintang, both are much better than their American counterparts.

@JohnM I think the KS1002 used the same denim as the RS/N04, leftover Cone Project denim. I could be wrong through.

Sounds like it @81611, I believe all those models used different denims. I have some overlap in my collection, lots of Black Seed Cone. But I’ve also got a few of those earlier models before he started using that denim.

Correct, the KS1001 is not Black Seed Cone, it was another Cone Roy used back in 2014 or so.

I think it’s been discussed before but I can’t find it right now, but thoughts on the 30’s hats? Thinking about getting one to wear while in the pool this summer, denim version would surely fade a lot with some pool time.

Hoping it’s that left hand twill Collect he showed me in his workshop last fall but I’m into anything that’s a change from Black Seed Cone. You already know I’m buying a pair.

    Japan Blue Momotaro

We sold those at the store that I used to manage, they’re Momotaro’s proprietary Zimbabwe cotton denim. The collaboration jeans that N&F used to make were always interesting since they’d use the other brands hardware / denim just in N&F fits.

    Mister Freedom

Hard to tell if it is or not based on the photos. I’ve never worn a roll neck sweater before either. I suspect it’ll be too warm for my neck of the woods.

    Mister Freedom

These collections aren't really doing too much for me...I like the two Dude Rancher variations (Joan plaid and denim, don't need any more denim westerns though), Sniper chambray and the baseball tees. The Aristocrat oxford shirts look like good options for when you need to dress up. Everything else is a little too much for me. I'd be into the indigo Privateer roll neck if I lived in a colder climate, although it is cotton so maybe not too warm. I think if the Maverick sherpa jacket didn't have such a massive collar it could be cool. The woven label is great. This is the real winner for me I think.
