    Warehouse

I don't think I've ever seen one either, but given the right conditions anything could happen? Maybe there's an example in the 501XX book. I think the idea behind these is that WH modeled them after a deadstock pair found in a barn that had been sitting around for decades. Think I read that somewhere.

@Flash correct, I did pick up the S1001XX ‘46 25th anniversary jeans. Had to have a rivet repaired on them as it fell of in the initial wash. You’re right, the faded tab does look a little strange with the unworn denim. Would a vintage rayon tab fade like that if the jeans were sitting around in deadstock condition?

    Warehouse

@indigoeagle I thought it might be because it's a size 28 that they photographed, but looking at the photos on Warehouse's website of a size 31 they also have 3 buttons (and 1 top button).

    Warehouse

First photos I've seen of the Deadstock Blues jeans outside of product shots. They look good! I didn't preorder a pair, need to free up some closet space and sell a couple pairs before adding any more.

Shoes that look better with age...

Looks like Attractions is now offering their Lot. 444 engineer boot in size 12! I've always had my mind set on a pair but they only went up to size 11 in the past. Went over to their website to see if I could email them about ordering in a size 12 and they actually have it listed as an option to buy now. These have always been the ideal black horsehide engineer boot in my mind. Clinch is another option too but the price is a bit up there these days.

Man I so wish FH shirts fit my frame. I've kinda given up on them, I'm selling the few I have.

    Real McCoy's / Joe McCoy's Jeans

I'd also like to recommend Warehouse as another option. I don't get to wear my sweatshirts all that much but the ones I got from WH last year are probably my favorites so far.

Happy jeans: TCBxSufu S40s WW2 contest thread

Jumping in, I have both pairs and to me they feel significantly different. That being said I sized up on the contest jeans, TTS on the Warehouse. The rise is a lot higher on the contest jeans and the top block feels a lot more forgiving. But that's probably because they're two different sizes, however the patterns feel a bit different to me. From the knee down both pairs feel pretty similar though. Main difference is the top block, WH are a bit trimmer in the hips/thighs/waist while my TCBs are a bit big everywhere.

Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

Agree with the recent sentiments here, unless they're "traditional" arcs I'm not really interested. Now that I think about it I've sold everything with non-traditional arcs besides a pair of FH 3009's with domestic arcs and some Mister Freedom jeans that I have for sale...

You're not wrong Maynard. We have a short winter but it can get close to freezing December through February.

@Dan_F I agree with @Ar_thor's suggestion above, these do feel similar to my Lofgren boots. Both Lofgren's are size 12, I have a fairly wide foot so I go true to my Brannock size. If you have a more narrow foot you could likely go half a size down.

And after I said "this will be my only jacket purchase this season", I looked at this photo. Looks a little more dressy but still casual. Looking forward to more info on the collection as it rolls out.

@MJF9 this will likely be my one jacket purchase this season (we all know I have enough...), been waiting for this one for awhile now.

Looking forward to it Bill! Thanks for the update, the liner does look pretty special.

    Post your DUCKS!

Nice thread bump, here are my Roy All Duck pants from a few years back. Honestly haven't worn them enough, they need repairs in a few small places. Duck is hard to photograph, white balance gets all thrown off.

The A/W 2020 photos look really nice Bill! The Weavers Stock flannel pullovers almost have a rugby shirt vibe to them. Looking forward to the 900 jacket restock, what denims will it be available in?

Shoes that look better with age...

Thanks @dudewuttheheck, I'm very happy with them. And I remember those from Mushmans, really nice bold color way. Next up will likely be a pair of Stans from RDT, fingers crossed that they'll carry that one in size 12 too.

Shoes that look better with age...

Black horsehide Coupens arrived from Rolling Dub Trio and I'm really happy with them. They're a bit lighter than I expected which is nice, so they can see year round wear. Love the toe shape and profile, these really are a mid-cut workboot like RDT calls it rather than an oxford / derby / whatever you call it. My only initial complaint is how damn loud and squeaky the leather is. I'm sure they'll subside with wear, I experience the same thing with my shell cordovan Alden shoes. There's one minor defect on the right left shoe in the welting, but I'm not super picky as once they're beat up you won't even notice it I don't think. Also these shoes were SO well packaged. I should've taken more photos of the packaging and presentation, but they felt really special to open up. Can someone educate me on the screwed on toe-guard thing and what it does? Small welting defect: The other shoe for comparison:

    Full Count Denim Thread

It's a shame FC got rid of the arcs and changed up their whole image / branding. I feel like the SPI on the new jeans is off too (I could be wrong about this). Glad I have a couple of the old pairs. Feels like they've fallen to the wayside a bit since they made the change, at least in this community.
