The only issue with sweat shrink is the sleeve & body length. The width will adapt to your body. If the sleeves or body get too short in a wash, there's not much to do. My "4 Banger" sweat is a little short in the sleeves now. The body's still good.

In the past, they did the sweat pants in bicolor. Those are very cool.

It was depicted on a few pieces of the collection in past years if I'm not mistaken; I think on a bandana, and a set short sleeve shirt & shorts.

Trying to figure out whether I should get a 40 or 42...

Does anyone own a Rocky Mountain down vest (posting here due to their collars with WH)?

Does anyone here have a Rocky Mountain Featherbed down vest? -
I thought that might be of interest to some of you. Those are 2 fairly recent FW bicolor sweatshirt, but the black & red model (just released) is the heavy weight. Indeed it weighs 765g when the white & blue weighs in at 570g. The other main difference is the detailing at the cuff. The black & red is wider and longer by 1/2", but it could just be because it's only been washed once, whereas the b&w has been washed several times.

Lovely jacket!

There are also other styles of pants that were made out of denim, like the Derrickman, Trackwalker, and Ironalls. They are plenty wide.

Anyone placed an order for the Warehouse blanket-lined jacket (already sold out): https://www.ware-house.co.jp/?pid=167690148

@JohnM - it's size 42. That's what I always get for their sweats & coats. It's going to shrink a bit after the first wash. I typically wear size 17 for shirts, but it depends on the exact measurements. FW has produced a number of bicolor sweats in the past, and they all look great. I'm partial to plain sweats (no patches, etc), and I have a couple of their old henley-necked hoodies in 2 colors, including one with exactly the same colors, but reversed (crimson body, black trims).

New sweat, courtesy of Seiichiro at Hoosier. Lovely piece.

In addition to what @UkeNo said about Hoosier's level of service, I'd add that for a given product, Hoosier will be cheaper because Seiichiro-san will remove the Japanese sales tax from the price, while Desolation Row does not (or did not when I used them last year).

I've never owned FC. What are the pro's and con's of the "heavy ounce" vs regular denim? They seem quite close in weight actually, the "heavy ounce" being quite reasonable at 15.5oz...?
-
Yes, you're right. It tappers less than the 888 from thigh to knee. I guess the main difference with the 888 is the rise then.
-
1955S have very little or no tapper and a high-ish waist.

I'm a big fan of the IH 1955S, which has a comfortably wide leg. IH just released a limited edition in their new slubby fabric, to commemorate the 10th anniversary of The Shop in Vancouver, so I decided to order a pair. They're lovely and I'm looking forward to wearing them (and having them hemmed).

They produced one last year, a special edition with the store Sunday: https://www.instagram.com/p/CUaNAUnPQzx/ See my posts: https://supertalk.superfuture.com/topic/76690-warehouse/?do=findComment&comment=3346684 https://supertalk.superfuture.com/topic/76690-warehouse/?do=findComment&comment=3346693
