  1. Any chance we could get a gander at the new Buzz Rickson goodies? I want to see the slimness. (Wallet screams bloody murder in the background - a good sign, I think?)
  2. Agreed, especially with those boots.
  3. Sighhhh. Here's hoping these are a prototype for something production down the road.
  4. The red stitching is So Nice.
  5. Shrinks about an inch - stretches back out a little bit. Unfortunately, IMO this is a necessary step - the jeans are going to get wet at some point, and at that point they Will shrink, thus you really have no option not to soak them. You could cold-soak them, but they're still going to get smaller. Might be a good idea to try a size smaller?
  6. They're not tight at all on me - I go through knees really hard for some reason. This is definitely more than a month of wear total, probably 6-8 weeks, but very few of those days were leisure days. Will definitely post pics post wash. Didn't carry a wallet during most of that time, just my knife - hence the hole in the pocket.
  7. I know this was a while back, but here is some great repair work done by SENY. Note that the area immediately to the right of the (present-day) hole was one giant hole before repairs. Back on the west coast now, obviously with some new holes, so I'll soon have a chance to get my SExIH07's repaired with the magical darning machine. They also re-stitched the back right pocket, but the work is so good that a detail shot would be pointless... You can barely even see the crotch repair!
  8. nope, indigo.
  9. rotated with SExIH07, but I wear the ironhearts 90% of the time. I'm no beancounter, have done some serious digging in em, but would say I haven't worn them cumulatively much more then a month since I last posted.
  10. X-Post from SExIH07 thread, redacted
  11. Long time no see! Repairs made by SENY -> material-backed darning on knees and cuffs with color-matched thread, crotch re-secured -- very nicely done, but I've got new holes now... Jacket, relatively unfaded:
  12. Worn more. Not much more, but maybe a month? having lots of holes, maybe going to go by SESF soon and see what the magical darner can do...
  13. 2weeks ish of wear. too hot for Iron Heart in these parts. Life has been BUSY. Will post fit pics when I can! Wrinkles are because I just went swimming in them and sundried.
  14. More wear, but have been rotating out with my new Roy's because it's so goddamned hot and humid right now.
  15. The man himself ain't too bad lookin' hisself A handsome, metal-working antique sewing machine prodigy with good taste and a good attitude, bay area... Sounds like marriage material to me.
