Anyone ever used reggieshop.com? They have an interesting line-up of brands. I came across a 31% off discount code that works on the Sugar Cane Super Denim Collectibles models they carry (#01 and #05). If anyone is interested, they have 34, 36, and 38 available in the #05 (1942) and 38 in #01 (1945). Hope this is ok to post, code is Happy31.

I've used them a while back for an EG piece IIRC

The blue fashion boards are not much different to here .. (well here in 2010) .. just a little bit more racism and a lot more Naked & Famous :D

There's an edgyalbert thread.. the guy who shot the Tilden / Roy video .. and quite an enjoyable thread with young folk getting there tattoos removed by laser because they don't want to look like a "sad old boomer or a hysterical middle-aged white woman" :D ..

It even works on Sassafras items (which seem to be excluded for other coupons).

@julian-wolf check that out!

They're legit! I've purchased a few things from them in the past year. They frequently offer 15-30% off discount codes.

Any opinions on Big Yank (ie. current Japanese/35 Summers not the vintage Big Yank) shirts? Anyone ordered direct from their online store?

@Lorcan I really like them. I've got an ecru 1935 model and a blue chambray 1942 model. They run quite big conpared to tag (or at least used to) so worth checking measurements. The Big Yank cuff design is a winner on its own. I tried the Anatomica Japan online store  - they will ship overseas but wouldn't play with declared value... at least that was the case a few years ago.  What have you got your eye on?

Thanks, yeah measurements definitely look bigger than some brands. I have some Freewheelers shirts I really like but find their collar proportions are sometimes a bit small so the longer point collar on the Big Yank stuff appealed for a change of pace. I've tried the Rite Stuff before but mis-sized and it was nice but maybe I'd been spoiled by FW shirting as it didn't seem as special by comparison, maybe Big Yank won't either, will see I guess.

Anatomica / Big Yank etc. seem to have a few different online stores... but maybe they all ship from the same place. I was looking at the 1920s yoke model

Can any footy lads tell me what these are..?

I’ve been given them by a friend who works at the restaurant in the Sheffield United ground..  he said ‘do you want some Sheff Utd cycling jerseys for riding to work?

I said 'yes please'.. when they arrived, I said ‘they’re not cycling jerseys’ he said .. but they’ll be alright for cycling in tho.. won’t they? .. well, I suppose so but they’re all XL .. He’s given me a bag full, they look brand new.

'Oh, ok, just drop them in at the charity shop'

..but before I do, I just want to know if they’re worth putting on eBay, the last time I bought my kid a AC Milan shirt i didn’t get much change from £100.

I know fk all about football, I’ve been scouring google images and they’re not part of the kit.. past or present, so what the hell are they?

Ive typed ‘warm up’  and ‘training’ shirt into google images and still no luck.. closest thing I can find is This ?

@MJF9 .. @Maynard Friedman any ideas? .. what does RF and JL mean?

Don't know Neal and also asked a friend.  Speculating... they could possibly be training kit for the academy or youth teams or maybe the senior team.  It seems Yelo are still sponsoring SUFC into 25/26 season.

At their current prices, even 30% off is a little rich for me…I'll stick to Yahoo I think

Some of their Buzz Rickson's stuff is pretty appealing, though

So what are the experience with the JapanRabbit proxy?
Has anyone successfully bought through them and received the item?

How easy is the money transfer/purchase process?

Do you need their app or is it possible through a browser?

Through the browser.

It's pretty much the same as Zen.. only difference i could see, you have to use card because they don't accept PP.. the fees are a lot higher than either Zen or fJ so the saving you make has to offset the increased fees to make it worthwhile.

I had checked the fees, seemed to have been around 7.5%, with something like 600 yen minimum. So not too bad.

Looking to ID the age of this jacket - not familiar with this label or the potential origin? Sadly, these are the only pictures i have of it. Anybody got a clue?

...Had a sneaking suspicion you'd come to the rescue @Dr_Heech! ;) Thanks a lot. Any idea about how jackets from this time are made and also fit? I think it looks pretty cool in all black but if it fits badly i'd rather pass on it.

Sorry, no idea from me unfortunately. Apart from the vintage Lee pieces l've owned,  only one was modernish, early 2000's l'm guessing, made in Tunisia Lee 101J which fits me like a glove.

I'm wondering if anyone here can help me find a particular style of eyeglass frame?

I generally wear the standard 50s-ish acetate type but find they won't stay put and tend to slide down my nose.

A while back I had a pair with the kind of nose-pads one usually sees on wire frame glasses. They worked better than anything else I've tried. Eventually they wore out as vintage frames are prone to do.

I'd love to find something similar. Maybe there's a company that will build custom?

I haven't had any luck with an internet search as the mainstream crap clutters the feed.

Any help appreciated.

Does anyone else feel like shoe/boot brands should regularly post the insole length and width to help costumers choose the correct sizing, similarly to how clothing brands post measurements? I feel like with shoes I bought with the knowledge of the insole length I was way less prone to sizing mistakes.
