Damn, I love my WH 1001SXX. I am really glad I picked them up. I mainly bought them for the details (and honestly I was afraid the fit is too wide for my liking) but now I am completely happy.

 

Too bad it is always way too dark when I'm back home but I try to take some pictures this weekend with better light

Both front pockets are blown out on my beloved 800's, I'm sending them off tomorrow to get repaired (again!). I'll get some pictures up once they've returned to me.

 

On the by and by, if anyone's got a pair of 660's in a 29 or 30 they're trying to get rid of, holler at me.

Fit update after 10 days of wear. I am really happy with everything. And I hope the "knee flare" will go away (eventually)

If I have one gripe about Warehouse, it's how easy the knees stretch and make that big fold.  Might be just the leg shape though.  My more tapered (60s) jeans seem to do it less.  Great fit.  Liking the lack of cuff.

I think it's more about the cut. My Evisu #2000 and my Denime 10th Anniversary do the same.

But I agree with you, this denim (and the 1000 denim I once owned) is quite stretchy leaving me with knee bags.

^I still get knee bags; they'll of course shrink down with each wash but then stretch back out but I wouldn't think too much about it! Looking forward to your updates, that's an excellent fit!

My favorite detail is the crotch rivet. I am a fan of crotch rivets but usually I don't like cinchs. Since this combination is rare I had to buy them

Everyone with the banner denim, you're in for something good...As mentioned, I just threw mine in the wash (lost count at this point, maybe 15+?), they have 6 months of wear. Sorry for the craptacular indoor pics but just want to show the texture:

Really good... Do you throw them in the dryer every time as well? And if so, do you notice anything that drying does in particular?

itsbenhere, I'd guess he does throw them in the dryer. I've done the same with my 1001 and they look similar.

^I do put them in the drier every time, usually on low heat or air fluff, although they have seen heat a few times. Personally I try to avoid high temps since that kills all fabrics in general!

So after 14 days of wear I noticed that the front pocket stitching gave up. On both pockets. That’s really a new record for me, never “achieved†it that fast

Most likely it will have no effect on the durability but I will see. I still think that’s too early and the pockets aren’t even tight.

 

On another note: I really like the “raised back pocket top seamâ€. Like raised belt loops the upper seam of the back pockets is also raised so there is less stress on the stitching. I know my Neutral’s also have this exaggerated feature but right now I can’t remember which brands also include this feature. And I don’t even know if my WH800 had this.
