  6. Colemine repressed Gloria Barnes - uptown a couple of years ago. It’s a fantastic album. Today : James Knight and the Butlers - Black Knight. Awesome ‘black rock’ record from 1971. Highly recommended
  7. I have a rega turntable for the last 10 years or so since I sold off my 1200s and retired my cross fader. No experience of their amps though. But I’m sure 00 is correct.
  8. More of my recent heavy rotation: gloria barnes- uptown : awesome obscure deep soul from Ohio featuring Lee Moses and band ghetto brothers - power fuerza james brown - sho is funky down here Penrose records volume 1
  9. It seems MF Doom and denim go together. Another fan here- madvillain has been on heavy rotation on my turntable since it was released. I was an avid stonesthrow collector through the 2000s, along with other rap, funk, soul and reggae. Lately I have been listening a lot to Townes van zandt, Witch and assorted soul like syl Johnson

I remember the Pau, too. Always liked the figaro/pau idea but preferred minis back then and didn't want the extra hassle of an imported car.
