PBJ SLB-019. I've had them for a bit more than 7 months, and I've had to do some small repair (the crotch, but also the stitching around the right pocket, and I'm gonna have to somehow fix a large hole in the left pocket but it's in a hard to reach place so I'll have to figure that one out later.

Just found my Samurai 710xx19oz from 8 years ago, been away from the raw denim scene since these got too small for me (I got fat...). Real pitty since these was just starting to get some really nice fades. Finding these makes me want to buy a new pair in correct size :).

^ Thats a great update - thanks for taking the trouble . Its really nice to see a few different pairs together in the same pictures. With the brain and eye being what they are, it isn't always to remember and think of the differing colours, shapes etc from pairs you've seen at different times and different lights etc..So together like this I like seeing the bluer, greyer, brighter tones.

@srudy Thanks kindly. I’m really having trouble deciding what to do with them at some point. Three of the four panels of the crotch already have an extra layer of backing, and the holes on either side of the seat—just hinted at in those photos—have opened up pretty significantly. They’re sorta at the point where it feels like they need a new repair every week I wear them, so they’ve mostly been sitting on the shelf…really a shame, given how great they’re starting to look. These are one of my favourite pairs of jeans I’ve worn.

@julian-wolf maybe art/wall hanging-they are so beautiful. Nice to look at, less of a wearing piece at this point. You put some lovely work into those!

Dunno how u feel about Sashiko patchwork but, if they still fit, they’re worth saving.

My worn-in pairs are the jewels in my collection. Pre-covid,  most still fit ... unfortunately, now they’re collateral damage of the lockdowns . . . My “new normal” won’t be a W34 :(
