Hello guys.

I am planning to buy a 1001xx, but i am lost due to shrinkage: do they strech back to raw measurement (or even beyond?), or there is only a minimal stretch?

Looking on the website, the shrinkage on the waist is 6/7 centimeters, will I have them back? :-)

Hey Warehouse jeans shrink to tag size, so buy your true size and you should be golden.

Hi guys.

I have recently bought a lot 3076 denim workshirt.

On warehouse website, it is mentionned that a few centimeters of shrinkage should be expected. However, after reception, I handwashed it between 30 and 40 degrees for forty mintutes, with some agitation.

I didn't had the lenghth shrinkage I was looking for. Do you think this won't shrink anymore, or is it possible to shrink it (40° machinewash?)

Did it shrink anywhere else that would give you an issue if it shrunk further?

Give it a cool machine wash, 30 degrees,  and you should be OK. You'll get a bit more out of it and can stick with that regime to prevent any more.

First photos I've seen of the Deadstock Blues jeans outside of product shots. They look good!
I didn't preorder a pair, need to free up some closet space and sell a couple pairs before adding any more.

@indigoeagle I thought it might be because it's a size 28 that they photographed, but looking at the photos on Warehouse's website of a size 31 they also have 3 buttons (and 1 top button).

My 1001XX 15th anniversary (late 40s cut I think) and 415s (rebadged 700s - 37 repro) both in size 32 have only 3 fly buttons (plus the top button).

The 503bxx would have only been 4 but for the most part the 46 501xx would have had 5 , but i suppose they could have just had a 4 button model to base the repro on

Think I prefer the 25th 46 jeans ( you have those dont you @Broark ? ) , the faded tab is nice but looks a bit daft with the unworn denim

@Flash correct, I did pick up the S1001XX ‘46 25th anniversary jeans. Had to have a rivet repaired on them as it fell of in the initial wash. You’re right, the faded tab does look a little strange with the unworn denim. Would a vintage rayon tab fade like that if the jeans were sitting around in deadstock condition?

?? Not sure mate  , I've never seen any and I dare say you havent either ? . Those faded tabs only really appear on jeans made around 42-47 ish

I don't think I've ever seen one either, but given the right conditions anything could happen? Maybe there's an example in the 501XX book.
I think the idea behind these is that WH modeled them after a deadstock pair found in a barn that had been sitting around for decades. Think I read that somewhere.

Definitely none in the book , would be interesting if that barn pair was ever shown

I see Lightning magazine are running a Warehouse special issue. Fingers crossed Clutch cafe London get some and I snaffle one before they disappear

Standout for this season for me are the 1920s Cowboy repros. I assume these are inspired by the Lee repros they used to do, back when Lee were infringing good n proper.

@unders you can easily order those magazines from amazon.co.jp

I bet it will even be cheaper that way compared to buy from Clutch Cafe (who are nice guys by the way)

      Details:
The event will be a year-long contest for denim evolution based on fading. It will commence on April 1, 2022. The entries will be judged by The Signet Store. Purchasing our Contest Jean is a prerequisite for joining the competition. You may not use any other jean besides this. The Contest Jean uses Warehouse’s WW2 denim and is cut on the 1946 pattern. International buyers need only pay a flat rate of 20 USD for shipping. Purchasers of the Contest Jean may choose any number between 1 to 100. This unique number will serve as an identifier of its owner and will be stamped on the pair's leather patch. You may also request your jeans to be pre-soaked and hemmed free of charge. The jeans must be raw or unworn until April 1, 2022. Participants are required to post their pair alongside a newspaper marking the date as proof of this.  Once the competition has commenced, participants are required to post a minimum of once a month on our Discord, here on our Superfuture Thread, or on Instagram by using the hashtag #warehousesignetcontestjeans  All this will serve as a means for us to monitor and share the progress of your fade!
