Thanks! I know they're not exactly a good repro fit but if I sized up to get more thigh room I would end up with a larger waist and higher front rise then I'd like. Plus, my wife says they don't look too slim on me so that's good enough for me! I was looking for any excuse possible to keep this pair because the fabric is so beautiful.

Fit looks good, not tight at all.  You don't want to size up.

Give 'em a week (or less) of daily wear, any they'll loosen right up.  Thigh will stretch 1/4" and the waist back to raw.

They don't look that tight as they did when you showed me the first fit pics. Like Setterman said, you should be fine. And those jeans are surely a motiviation to stay fit ;)

Thanks for the feedback. I've been a casual lurker of Sufu over the past year and I'm happy to be part of the community now. Everything I've seen has been super positive.

@kevypf597 Solid fit on those, they'll definitely give a little more room with wear.

Thanks! A little give would be appreciated even though they don't feel restricting at all. I can't believe how soft they are already. I've only had them on for about an hour total and they're super soft and comfortable.

Damn, it's getting real hard not to buy a pair...I've never done business with Junkstyle, have anyone else done it?

Mhh...the 1003 DD is also available on the Warehouse website but without arcs. I wonder of only the pictures are arc-less and the jeans are still painted. Similar to the 1105 which is also shown without a red tab on the website pictures

Yeah maybe. Though the blog post does say something about it being a bit special for their store - could be the arcs?

If this is the same store I follow on instagram, I don't think they ship overseas.

Thanks Setterman.

Damn, I'm not feeling like adding proxyfees. Anyone picked up the one of the WWII jeans yet?

Just ordered DD-1003SXX and DD-1004XX - hoping that those 1003's are not as tapered as they appear to be in JunkyStyle's pictures...on WH's site they come across as slimmish straight.

Nice. Post some fit pics when you get them. I'm mighty intrigued.

Nice cop on the 1004XX, Foxy. I'm tempted to get one but between 1004 and 1001, I put myself on the 1001XX waiting list. ^_^

If you are referring to the DD-1001XX - I believe those have been available for order for quite some while now...

They've arrived... Lot.880

Very nice indeed. Great fabric, as in, really quite something,  neppy and a bit irregular.

These are one wash and very rigid. Might soak again depending on the fit. That'll have to wait as I can't wear them now - see picture.

I've measured them as they are - One wash:

Warehouse x Burgus Plus Lot.880 (01-05 Yellow Logo Thread)
Tag: 34 (O/W)
Waist: 34 "
Front Rise: 11"
Back Rise: 15"
Inseam: 33"
Thigh: 12.5"
Knee: 9"
Hem: 7.25 "

those are way too tapered to be worn with the plaster cast. You should have bought the 1003! Good score, the fresh wh denim looks yummy.

I wish you a speedy recovery!

Thanks all. I've been out of hospital for over a week now with an aircast boot so healing up well. Shouldn't be cluttering up the thread with my tales of woe anyhow ;)

I don't think the fabric is the same as the BIGxWH 660 but it could be - that's 14oz and the 880 is 14.5oz, not much in it.

The 660, 800, 1000, and current 1003XX and 1003SXX all use the same 14.5oz 1000XX denim.  There is no 14 oz 1000XX denim.

Are you sure and have conclusive evidence or do you just think that's the case?

      Details:
The event will be a year-long contest for denim evolution based on fading. It will commence on April 1, 2022. The entries will be judged by The Signet Store. Purchasing our Contest Jean is a prerequisite for joining the competition. You may not use any other jean besides this. The Contest Jean uses Warehouse’s WW2 denim and is cut on the 1946 pattern. International buyers need only pay a flat rate of 20 USD for shipping. Purchasers of the Contest Jean may choose any number between 1 to 100. This unique number will serve as an identifier of its owner and will be stamped on the pair's leather patch. You may also request your jeans to be pre-soaked and hemmed free of charge. The jeans must be raw or unworn until April 1, 2022. Participants are required to post their pair alongside a newspaper marking the date as proof of this.  Once the competition has commenced, participants are required to post a minimum of once a month on our Discord, here on our Superfuture Thread, or on Instagram by using the hashtag #warehousesignetcontestjeans  All this will serve as a means for us to monitor and share the progress of your fade!
