Hi everyone!  Great posts for everyone!  It's a lot of fun to see jeans that fit your lifestyle.

Speaking of my jeans, I need more repairs after I come back from repair.  haha

I don't like shooting under room lighting, but ...

The coin pocket is tattered.  The Zippo inside will show your face.

The top and bottom of the repaired area were torn further.

Folded back pocket.

My wallet hurts, so I want to repair it as soon as possible.

I can't even see the picture of the wonderful patch.  I should have saved it as a memorial before the contest started ...

I am using the chair that was used in the U.K. school.Of course, my daughter is also my favorite.

My daughter also likes the table made from the legs of the sewing machine.

Just switched to washing monthly, everything about these jeans is holding up well, especially the front pockets. They’re becoming my work jeans for when I’m out and about but if I’m at home there’s just too much competition with all the other denim I have. Knees are holding up well!!!

Time for some ongoing maintenance:

Making a right hash of this. The needle is currently MIA as a result of pausing for a photoshoot. I have another needle but I don't want to risk pulling the jeans back on until I know the first one isn't hiding in there

@julian-wolf it's Fjällräven's Vidda Pro with their waxed G1000 65/35 fabric. Really functional in the woods and city.

Jeans update - slow and steady. Admittedly not my favorite cut or fabric I own, but keeping on with it. Definitely favorite patch though.

So, the good news: my new job as a teacher has been every bit as stressful as you'd think, battling with unreliable public transport requiring a hike over Blackheath every day, and while every day is pretty inspiring I collapse in an exhausted heap at the end and count the days until my next holiday. So my somewhat undersized jeans fit pretty much perfectly, with - Volvo - no muffin top.

Bad news: no time for photos and a 3-day a week jeans regime. But here we are. Love to all.

top work @Paul T! Teacher are such a key part of the front-line at the moment: so hope you are keeping safe as well as exhausted! [my daughter's secondary school is being vigilant on testing and ensuring social isolation happens among bubbles to keep teachers safe; hoping your employer is looking out for you too...]

in denim terms: just done a wash...

as denim characteristics emerge some comparisons with other tcb and with a cone lvc '44 from a few years back...

[almost no rain on the tcb 40s denim; instead almost granular / sandpapery still ... there is some hiding in there, but very different to other tcb offerings I have worn thus far...]

@Paul T massive respect for you teachers! But less so for you shedding your muffin top. Mine has gone in the other direction. I blame lockdown but I think we all know I'd have expanded just the same without a pandemic...

I've used my pair for some yard work and promptly washed them right side out at 60° C just because the washing machine is the only thing that can fade my jeans at this stage!
