I find those work shirt pockets gimmicky and not really user friendly + I dislike chin straps...

I think the workshirts are nice, collar is a little small but not a dealbreaker. Waiting until our Italian boss gets his in to make the call.
I know Inoue has the black slim 50's on his site but I would love if he would do a true black/black denim in the 50's or 60's cut.

I changed my mind re colour and modified my order from red to blue. I was fearing I couldn't  get much use out of a red  shirt...Funny thing I have 6 other blue chambray shirts..

I’d definitely be into black 50s

What size of 50's should I order to get a post wash waist of 34-35? Looks like my best option is to go with size 34 and stick to washing it cold?

Definitely 34. You could even wash them warm, but perhaps no dryer...

I was thinking it looked more like Toy Story? I could be wrong though.

I knew it looked familiar when I saw it.  Saturday morning cartoons does that to you.

some sizing advise needed

want to order the denim 50s type 2 jacket from Denimio but a bit baffled by the dimensions

all measurements but the p2p seem to suggest I need a size 38 (one wash) but its only 48cm under the armpits which is even tighter than my shirts. If I go up a size the sleeves and length seem too big...

this is what i got from denimio

TCB50SJKT-ow-38

chest flat: 48 cm
back length: 66 cm
shoulder: 43 cm
sleeve: 65 cm

!
Resend

^ I hope someone with a size 38 jacket could chime up and help.
I wear a 42 and I can confirm that the pit to pit measurement can be misleading, for some reason it's smaller than what it feels.

I gave away my sz 38 50s type 2 as it was too tight in the arms. That said my sz 40 30s type 1 fits perfectly.

Only have the 30's jacket myself but imo the TCB denim jackets have longer sleeves and body length than what we're used to.

Hey Ale my jacket was a prototype, the first size 42 made by tcb, I know that they modified the fit. I think @beautiful_FrEaK

has a more recent 42 that could be compared against denimio measurements.

I can measure my jacket later today. It was raw and has seen only a gentle wash or hand wash (can't remember right now)

Have you received your chambray shirt yet volvo? I’m interested in seeing your measurements (as well as your handsome pictures of course!).

@SLAB  I have size 38 in the 50s Jacket. Mine measures closer to 49cm across laid flat and its one wash. On paper it does seem tight, considering that I usually buy T-shirts around that same size. It fits really well, I think, and I can layer a bit. I believe the pleats in the back give that little extra space for comfort.

With mister Volvo being swamped with work I'll share the workload of the organizing the tour.

To our great delight we've successfully talked Inoue-san into another SUFUxTCB adventure. Following the TCB 50's contest, the introduction of the ranchman shirt and the upcoming TCB 20's contest in 2018, we're now also doing a world tour - starring a prototype of the very jean we will rock in the next TCB contest. Inoue and his crew is basing the jeans off of a vintage pair of Levi's from the 1920's he got a hold of back in april and will also rock a completely new denim.

For the tour we'll have a size 32 for our disposal. Measurements will hopefully be sorted out.

We're kicking off the tour at TCB's very own factory in Kurashiki where I will pick up the jeans during the last week of july.

The current roster of TCB rockstars:
      Bobbo (Sweden)
      Paul T (UK)
      Red Dragon (Indonesia)
      NYC surfer (USA)
      JaredLee (USA)
      Ooms (Indonesia)
      Foxy (Germany/Russia)
      Ironhorse (Taiwan)
      Articulate (USA)
      Jigsaw (Indonesia)
      Holio Cornolio (UK)
      Mandel9000 (NOR)

      Subs:
      Reverendglasseye
      Louisbosco
      FeloniusMonk

The roster is full for now, although it won't hurt having a few subs!

The original and what we're looking forward to:
