Every once in a while, Gustin comes through with a gem! This is a 14 oz cotton sweatshirt deeply saturated with indigo.
$56 + $6 shipping = $62 for a really fine indigo dyed sweatshirt. You just can’t beat the quality or the price!

Check it out, it’s still in the backing process for 12 days, delivery April, 2020.

^ I have one of those in the kakishibu fabric that I picked up for like $60 at a stock sale a while back. The material's really nice and the construction's fine. The stock buttons were trash, but it was easy to find some old wood ones that fit the aesthetic better. I don't end up wearing it much just 'cause I don't really like the button-down style, but this reminds me that I'd been meaning to chop the sleeves off and turn them into some workshirt-style chest pockets…I think that'd help it see a lot more use.

That said, your whole post kinda reads like an ad?

I saw that new run of chambray shirts they're offering. Fabrics look nice. I can't do button-downs. It's shame they use such nice, interesting fabrics in that style of dress shirting. I don't think it's an appropriate use of the material. If they did it in their rugged or workshirt styles, I might consider one. Particularly the persimmon dye. I LOVE chambray shirts, and I'm always on the look-out for non-blue varieties.

Not sure if many of you follow Super Stitch on Instagram, but the guy behind it is releasing his own branded pair of jeans. I started following him a while ago because he would post photos of his hemmed Resolutes so he seems to like that aesthetic. I don't know any extra details than what's in this Instagram post (or whether it'll be available online).

^ wrong thread ;)

Yeah I saw them also in one of the old Lightning magazines and loved the fades. I remember reading something about "not made for Westerners" since the rise, hips and thighs were rather small so I ignored them since that.
I don't think anybody around here has an actual pair.

The product page is currently up for Super Stitch's LR01 jean. I think it's just a placeholder for when they actually go live, but you can see that the price will be quite high at €290... They're supposedly based on jeans between 1972 and 1974.

Thought I’d post a couple of photos of the natural indigo dyed, 7 oz, 30% hemp/70% cotton shirt I received recently from Gustin. The fabric has a really nice hand. I usually agree with the never button down style in workwear but in this instance, I also agree with JDelage that this shirt will go as well with a tweed jacket and a pair of khakis as with a pair of jeans. Gustin occasionally does some interesting work.

This photo shows both the texture of the hemp/cotton fabric and some interesting imperfections in the weave

I just received the same shirt. It's a great alternative to workshirts and in many ways it's going to be more versatile. Luckily for me it fits me perfectly.... I agree with @lance's review. Only disappointment for me is that the buttons are a bit flimsy, but that's not the end of the world.

I had ordered the same shirt in persimmon but my order was canceled. Apparently my shirt defective (maybe the entire batch fell through; who knows).

My Circle A denimbro collab jeans are paper thin in the places that they do still exist, so it’s time for another pair of something lighter and wide legged.

Cory (bandit) and Edwin steered me toward CeeBlues, a brand made by vintage seller and pro skater Gilbert Crockett.

I ordered the last pair of Cone chinos in my size and hope to have them soon.

Gilbert has some snowy denim from Japan coming toward the end of Summer.

The amount of body twist on this thing is crazy

All the seams are hand-felled / lapped, which is pretty neat

The backing to the collar is a really lovely linen / silk blend that they weave in-house; it's held up remarkably well too

Overall, this one's been really good to me.

The fabric's one of my favorites I've ever handled. I don't think I'd like it on a pair of jeans, but it's perfect here. Fairly heavyweight cotton / hemp blend; not-too-slubby yarns hand-dyed with natural indigo. It's faded more than I expected from a hand-dyed fabric, although it did take a good chunk of wear to start showing.

The detailing is really neat; I like the lapped seams and the single-needle stitching and the leather washers backing all the buttons and rivets. The construction itself is sub-par; in a few places too little allowance was given during patterning / construction and I've had to mend more than I'd like, but that's okay. The buttons were also applied poorly, with too much pressure / too narrow of a spacer, leading to the shafts cutting through the fabric and the fabric fraying. So far, this has only caused real issues for one button, but I anticipate more will break down in time. My biggest issue is that the buttons are placed too far in on the yoke relative to the button holes, so that the whole yoke sits off to one side rather than at the center of the body when buttoned. The hardware is so-so, and the constructional thread is poly-core rather than 100% cotton which is sort of a bummer. All that having been said, with the fabric and the styling as nice as it is, I wouldn't trade this jacket for anything.

I snagged a cardigan from North Sea Clothing on sale and I'm extremely impressed with the quality. Super heavy knit - it almost feels like a jacket. It also have some nice details like reinforcements at the buttons and holes. Wouldn't hesitate a moment to pay full price for this. Should be great when fall comes knocking. They seem to take the 'Whatever weather'-slogan seriously.

Some Quick snaps (colour is best represented in the first one):

The 31/33 oz colored weft Old Blue's are out. Dunno how many are available as I originally thought they were pre-order only. (Un)Fortunately for me, I just got the TCB S40's for their contest so I am far less inclined to get these. Well, I really want to get them (colored weft super heavyweights!), but good judgement is winning out. I am glad they aren't green or olive weft as I would have already ordered them.

Pictures from their site. They definitely have gone full western cosplay over the past few years.
