Yes they do other brands aswell. I learnt last summer at the factory that they are making now the jeans of one of my favorite brand of all time ! But Inoue told me to keep it secret....

Not that surprising though since he started his business as a sewing factory for other brands before starting his own brand.

Makes sense. I remember seeing garments which were labeled under a different brand but had all the details of the TCB brand. Even used the same "international world jeans" copper buttons.

if you read his blogs on the happyjeans site you see sometimes how the tcb staff sandblast the crap out of some denim items and you can already deduct from that that tcb makes things for others.

I'm pretty sure they make the jeans and cotton duck stuff for Moto(r), as the owner Hideo Motoike showed up on the TCB blog and then shortly thereafter Moto(r) started offering USN denim pants, cotton duck pants, etc.

yeah, not a bad thing at all. It's not like the brands collide. Different esthetics and brand philosophy. And prices would be a lot higher too if he was only producing in small batches.

I forgot about Workers too; they show up in each other's blogs on occasion.

It's kind of fun if you like TCB too, to then discover these other brands and know that they're imbued with that TCB craftsmanship.

Do these other brands source their own denim and then give to TCB to produce into products?

I think it depends; sometimes sewing factories keep extra fabric on hand and can get working right away. They might be able to get it for you too, though it's possible that will cost a bit extra if they want to charge a bit of fee for that service. You can always source your own fabric/hardware/etc though and provide it to the sewing factory to use. 

So, hypothetically, you could buy scratch-and-sniff denim on your own and ask a sewing factory like TCB to sew it into jeans for you, if you like.

The general consensus in them is that they're stubborn to fade! I think the direct sunlight highlights fades a lot. Anyhoo that's very very promising @cottonskinblues

I concur on the fast fading. I'll get some photos of mine over the weekend to compare but I really was not expecting how fast they would fade, my 50's jacket was a stubborn fucker for the first 6-9 months.

Yes. I haven't done much research on what size I need but I'm a 32 in Samurai 710xx, Warehouse 800, SDA-101, IH-634 and a few others. Can you pm me the raw measurements whenever you get a chance @Maynard Friedman?

Feck, did Inoue change the denim on these jeans or I'm just an amateur fader?
I remember the first 9 months of wear my 50s were SLOOOOW to show any progress.
The last two pairs posted are ridicolous!

I don't know but my 50 Slim is starting to show some real evo with a shy of 2 months of sitting in the library and 1 wash. Ill try to post a picture when the weather is better.
