What about Jeans Jackets ....

Here is what the Rakuten translator had to say about the dye stuff used on the matching pair of jeans:

Dyeing: I dye it in 特濃色 in the other of the deep color that I can express in indigo100%. The part of the core white of the thread maximizes it to be easy to gain a hit.

And I dye the weft with a natural sumi, and, in the back of the denim, it is in a color tinged with the gray by dyeing a weft, and the list becomes colored indigo tinged with the black taste slightly. I am finished to the very attractive denim which "indigo" and a sumi cross and add the unique hue and expression not to be seen to normal denim to a feeling of violent force that the denim of the super irregularity thread has, and was able to have novelty. It becomes the unique hue tinged with the gray.

Wearing it today - if I get to take pics I will post them.

The denim and the details are indeed amazing - in regards to fades we both have to be patient...

In regards to cut and sizing I'm not perfectly happy - the sleeves are quite full/wide. My TFH type 3 is still the benchmark.

Would you mind posting measurements? (I'm curious, and it might be helpful to other people thinking of purchasing one of these jackets.)

My size 42 DB-430 measures 22.5" p2p post soak.

*Also, mattdude and I pm'd about his jacket, just in case it seems like there's some missing dialog in these posts  :)

Sure! These are measurements post soak for a size 38 SDA DB-430:

P2P: 20.5 inches

Arm Length: 23.5 inches

Length from bottom of collar to hem: 23.5 inches

The shrinkage was most noticeable in the arm length, and not too much in the chest

not that i own any FH to compare to, but i always understood flat head jackets to be pretty slim in comparison to todays "standard", or much more-so "vintage" fits. Regardless, beautiful jacket; I'd love to see how it wears.

Not strictly a jeans jacket but it got denim on it and it is in a jeans jacket model

The jacket is a Wrangler which was a sample it is a suade from buffalo and it is really thick and heavy this jacket never went in to production as far as I know so this might be one of the only few in the world. The jacket is blanket lined so it is pretty warm and far to warm to wear in the summers.

I searched the forum for a place to post pictures of my waistcoat I have been wearing for a month but this was the best place I could find as the brand is fairly unknown outside Sweden if this is the wrong place I would be thankfull if a mod could point me in the right direction. This is a Denim Demon waistcoat the model is called Luvlie, however my model was replaced by another model sharing the same name before it the general stores and thats why there is impossible to find pictures matching my waistcoat online.

I have worn it every day for one month

Any additional shrinkage after you washed it?

Sorry, I missed this!

Yes, I believe it did shrink after the subsequent wash, but I was able to stretch it back to the original measurements (i.e. the measurements after the factory one-wash).  I took post wash measurements for b_F a while back:

Chest: 42

Shoulder: 19

Sleeve Length: 24.75

Waist: 37

Armhole: 20

Center Back: 25.25

These are pretty in line with BiG's measurements

I am not a fan of suede jackets, however the design on this jacket is beautiful IMO.  Thanks for sharing.
