What about Jeans Jackets ....

Anyone recommend a good jean jacket that is around the $200 price point??

Thanks

You should take a look at Rogue Territory's supply jacket. I've had one for about a year now, and it's worth every penny. It's a bit longer than most denim jackets, though.

One of my favourite jackets - a type 3 from a local brand here in Moscow - this is a sample that didn't make it to regular production - for this sample they used Japanese denim from Sugarcane's mill with persimmon dye - love the denim, love the details...

Thanks.

Wow I am so jealous of that persimmon jacket, really nice.

Love the fabric!

However, the cut/ pattern has a major flaw: it was made for stretch fabrics and is very narrow in the shoulders and the sleeves are cut as in a dress jacket. It looks great with the arms down, tight to the body. As soon as you move and raise your arms you are seriously restricted. Still, it looks and feels so great - just don't move...

Had to realise that my FullCount 2290 is never going to fit me right - in size 42 it is just too long in the body.

Gave it to a friend and now it fits much better...

Sleeves are still way too long on him though foxy.... oftentimes I wonder if pattern makers ever try their prototypes on actual humans.

Sleeves are usually quite long if you size for length, but if you don't mind the cropped look then sleeves fit good.

But they would still be quite long after cuffing.
