    W. H. Ranch Dungarees

I’ve been having a great time reading through all the posts on this topic. Funny coincidence that this popped up today on gear patrol. I’m sure this type of mainstream advertisement on a hypedriving website won’t help the wait time. https://gearpatrol.com/2019/01/18/w-h-ranch-r1901-ryder-ready-to-wear-jeans/

Shoes that look better with age...

I don’t have the Roberts, but a similar model on the same last (I think) with a soft toe that was sold through a retailer called Zurick a few years back. I have no complaints. They are four years old now, have seen daily wear for at least 3 of those years, and are still going strong with little to no maintenance. I really lucked out on theses. They had them on sale and I got them shipped for <$300

    Samurai Jeans

I’ve been out of the game for some time now, and don’t have the motivation to go through 2 years of posts, but BiG still isn’t selling any of the “normal” brands on their site and have totally revamped their product offering. I’m guessing the lawsuit didn’t turn out well for them, or they just decided it wasn’t worth fighting and changed their business model accordingly. Bummer for the denimheads at least.

    The Flat Head

^from a demand (or consumer value) perspective the price may be ridiculous but the materials are the same and hand distressing takes a bunch of time with human labor so why shouldn't they charge more?

    Samurai Jeans

I haven't heard anything other than a few comments I've seen posted here, but BiG's pages of their classic brands are seriously reduced except for warehouse and oni. I bought a pair of limited edition pair 710s in November for full price and now there is nothing there. I'm all for supporting BiG and was fine paying full price, but feel like a bit of a fool now that I see they basically aren't supporting the brand online anymore. Maybe it's a different story in store.

    Full Count Denim Thread

Is BiG going to stop carrying full count? Went on their website for the first time in a few months and they have no stock of jeans, just a few obscure shirts and accessories, some marked down quite a bit.

^lol? Can't wait for you to flame out in a spectacular fashion. What would you call the curved heel found on all three of those manufacturers boots?

    The Sock Thread

I picked up a bunch of chup socks recently on sale from j crew. The patterns are awesome and the fabric feels great, but they are a bitch to get on. They seem to stretch enough when they aren't on but pulling them over my heel is a real chore.

Denim Blunders, Reflections and General Nonsense.

Where'd the term "shameless plug" originate? Surely I could google it, but I only ever see it on fashion sale message boards so thought I'd just ask here and see what people have to say. Edit: More interested in the "plug" part as I'm quite familiar with shame.

    Warehouse

I say wash when you feel like it, without regard for any set schedule. They'll turn out great no matter what you do!

    Mister Freedom

If anybody is sitting on an XL Wabash Workman shirt (in any condition) and wants to work out a trade for a size Large, please PM me. I love the shirt, but the size large is a bit small on me in every dimension. I've worn it quite a bit a bit, and although it is a bit faded, it is otherwise undamaged. If all you have is a new unworn XL I'd even be willing to throw in a few bucks, or potentially another item that doesn't really fit me any longer.

Those are a size 33, and I can barely fit into them these days!

Here are some pics of my beat to shreds Roy RS04. Holes in both knees, thighs and seat wearing thin, several crotch repairs... I only wear these on the weekends when I'm bumming around now. Stuck my toe through one of the knee holes putting them on this weekend and made it a bit bigger. My favorite jeans ever.
