S516xx. Probably gonna get a wash soon. Can’t remember the last time it had one, maybe even 2023. I have a lot of jackets so none of them develop too quickly but this gets a lot of use in the colder months. It’s a really soft denim these days but started out quite stiff. My favorite part so far is probably the puckering on the hem.10 points

As long as you can still buy the regular one, it's fine, I guess. But I'm more disappointed about the jacket situation. Just look at the J47A, clean, refined, minimalist, yet unmistakably ACRONYM. Meanwhile, the J123TS looks like an abomination, randomly stitched together from different parts of the past.5 points

Exactly that one. Ordered it for 3k Yen + shipping. Strange that the link doesnÄt work but might be beacuse of some country restrictions maybe? Anyway, it was easy to find using the ISBN code.2 points

No plans for Whitesville to make their tees in larger sizes. Merz does not produce their loopwheeled tees up to 3XL, they may produce some of the Portuguese made tees that big, but we really only stock their Germany made loopwheeled and circular knit tees. Starting FW25 we'll have their non-loop wheeled (But circular knit) tees up to XXXL in black and white.1 point

NB MIUSA 995. i bought these back in 2017 and for years I wore them quite infrequently. They seemed hot and stuffy at the time, and I also seemed to constantly get static electricity zapped when wearing these, especially getting out of a car after driving, which never happened with any other sneakers I wore. The last three years or so, though, they’ve become probably my most worn pair of sneakers, and they’re still going strong. It seems like they broke in somehow, they feel much more comfortable and no longer stuffy, and although static zaps do still happen on occasion, it's far less frequent now.1 point

We have a few various vintage threads and one dedicated to loopwheel stuff but I thought we could use one dedicated to the humble tee. Graphic or plain, vintage or new, share your favorites here. I'll start. Vintage Lake Whippoorwill Speedway Tee Thin knobby fabric, single stitch, no label but feels like 50/50.1 point

You pulled that out of the bag Ooms.. ! 3/4s of the way down.. it was like you'd nvr heard of the place. Clothing aside.. i turned away from consumerism years ago @Cold Summer the only reason i still buy expensive things is because i don't want to buy them again .. i've only ever owned 3 laptops.. my DSLR is 20+yrs old.. I've only recently got a secondhand iphone having not owned a phone for years and not because i wanted one.. just became life became so difficult / bordering on the impossible without one. But i do have a collectors mentality which left unchecked, gets a bit out of control.. before my kid was born.. his soon to be bedroom was my clothing / sneaker storage room.. i had two metal shop rails on wheels full of jackets, you could barely open the door without knocking over boxes of sneakers pilled up to the ceiling.. i was buying stuff and just shoving it in the room.. out of sight.. out of mind. When my kid was born in 2009.. i realised how little any of it meant to me and just took the collection back to current wearers / what would fit in the wardrobe. It didn't stop.. it just slowed down momentarily while i adjusted to parenthood, then i started buying jeans again.. i thought i'd buy a pair of engineer boots.. but because i don't want to "buy cheap buy twice" i bought an insanely expensive pair.. and because of the previously mentioned 'collectors mentality' within 12mths i'd spent £6000 on a small collection of hand made boots.. this was on top of my lace up boots.. every pair was black (same with the lace ups) they all looked the same I was the first person outside Japan to buy Clinch from Brass..(you can probably blame me for the CSF thing too) did i wear any of these boots.. no not really, my life centered around my kid, all my leisure time was spent knee deep in mud wearing wellies.. out in the woods fishing, collecting tadpoles, bike riding, camping or hiking in the Peaks.. i rarely got the opportunity to wear £1600 boots (so why did you buy so many?... good question) i decided to wear the cheapest pair of fancy engineers in the workshop (that is their intended purpose after all) but they were fucked in a few short months so i sold them on. I spent years and 100s of hours painstakingly collecting every colour of ultra-rare 1990s era Buckweat sneakers.. never wore any of them and sold them on to MJF9 for a song When we moved house 7ish years ago i had another rethink / sell off.. it's these life affirming moments like kids being born, house purchases which makes me reassess.. i haven't bought any sufu-related clothing since 2017.. the last item being a Stan Ray SunSurf shirt from PSA. The social commentators will tell you.. "buying clothing always leaves you wanting more, feeling unfulfilled and empty inside".. i've got to admit, it was all a massive waste of money but i did thoroughly enjoy it.. researching, tracking down and buying rare items of clothing was exciting and with that gone, there is less joy in my life.. but do i feel happier and more contented inside?.. absolutely not.. i feel exactly the same.1 point

Looks cool the panam sneakers! I’ve really come to like my Flower Mountain sneakers. got them last year, was looking into NB but the ones I tried were too dadish or to wide for my the feet. These fit me well and are light weight. i like the small details with it not being overdone (imo). had to swap the original laces, as they were reflecting light and felt quite corpcore-ish.1 point

^ Same plans here! Clear skies today, and dirt plenty soft after a couple weeks of rain, so we took the opportunity to pick up some exciting starts & put them in the ground plus (not shown) a healthy looking little finger lime tree, a lilac, geranium, and some crawling time for between the walk way tiles. Jeans still feeling great! feat. Union Special cap, Skyway Man tee, Hollows belt, wet Russells1 point

Next prewash update Ooe Yofukuten Lot OA01XX-0522: The pair feels very light and extremely comfortable on the body (sometimes I feel Zimbabwe cotton like FC), fit well on the body, joyful experience Thread count, thread color and stitches per inch are well balanced throughout the pair and helps create an elegant look and feel. Consistent placement of iPhone in right front pocket has left marks of usage (not very prominent) Whiskers are prominent Buttons have become shiny (couldn't capture well by camera) Usage of wallet in left back pocket developed marks, waiting for blowout with more usage Nice puckering on back pockets and yoke raised loops have started fading nicely I liked slight puckering of waist band (maybe I will not like extensive puckering) raised loop like double stitching, from crotch area to yoke with raised cloth , caused similar character like "raised loops fading" (either deliberate by OA or incidental , though very nice). leather patch still intact and very soft like silk train tracks are prominent copper rivets at pockets have started change in color honey combs the best roping, I have experienced so far among all Japanese Raw Denim pairs I have though not well captured by camera but stitching on inseam looks very elegant An unwanted crease during 1st wash also got prominent (my mistake during first wash)1 point

My 311s arrived the day after I left the country for a few days so I didn't get them till Tuesday. Soaked and then washed at 30 degrees on Wednesday. Raw fit in first pic, post-wash in second (obviously). Fit is slightly slimmer than I anticipated in the leg but not too slim (I hope - thighs might get bigger again once I get over my patellar tendinitis). And I bought them to be a slim pair anyway. I think the waist will be spot on. If it stretches further than I'd like it won't matter too much cos I also went for a shortish inseam. Long term I see these as jeans for the summer.1 point
