Thanks for the tips! And it has softened significantly already.

I was lucky enough to have @Duke Mantee make me a belt before he closed up shop. I wanted something a bit simple, so went with a brown colour and an vintage buckle with a muted finish. Since it was a MTO belt and I had seen the skills which he makes his belts with, I decided to have an “A” detail made and placed on the belt so it would sit on my left hip. (My family’s names all start with A) I’ve been wearing it for a week or more and are really pleased!

Thanks All for some very good input! I’ve come across one or two of the brands mentioned, but a lot of new ones mentioned

A while back Double 0 was ranting about not currently having brand or style he found interesting for his age group (please correct me if I remember incorrectly) but I was in a similar rod before I found SuFu/denim but also style-wise. now that I’ve come across Tender (learned about here), some nice Kapital pieces in the WAYWT threads and Hansen Garments (finally having enough money to by a piece once in a while), the brands have have really gotten my interest with that kind of aesthetic - lose but tailored, a focus on the fabric and a slightly “bohemian”-vibe So my question is, what kind brands are there with the same kind of style? maybe enginered garments and kapital, but are there others I’m missing?

He's a really nice dude, changed jobs 2 years later, so don't talk to him anymore, but I hope he reads in here sometimes. They jeans were Edwins, Kings of Indigo, Just Junkies, all selvedge.

Thanks Double 00 I also joined due to the friendly and familiar(?) tone in this forum. This is the first and only time a have an online present, but I got so much from the forum so I wanted to contribute with what little denim knowledge/experience I have my origin story I posted in another thread, but here it is: " I’ve always been interested in clothes, doing the vintage 70’ies hippie style in my teens, then more streetwear and skateboard style the first part of my 20’s. When I finally had some money finishing uni, I was in a rut. Now I had money but felt too old for streetwear and did not really like the prep or business style. Luckily I had a great colleague who one day brought me 4 pair of his old selvage jeans for me to have, and then I was hooked! This is now 6 years ago and I’m been reading here the last 4 years, due to the purchase of the FC 1110XX which has the red tab and arcs, but when I found photos of the model elsewhere there were no arc or tabs – then superfuture taught me why. " Bonus info: What made me sign up, was because I wanted a belt from duke (received it yesterday!) and I thought the denim blunders was fun and wanted to chime in once in a while

At first I thought Double 0 was being dramatic, but after googling it... i can see he has a point still a bit of a drama queen though

I've had these NT-100xk jeans from 3sixteen for 3 years now, and these are probably my most faded pair in the current rotation. Brought them on a trip to NYC in their store, nice staff. From the start the denim was super soft and comfortable, but still with at lot of character. The 14 oz weight is perfect for spring and summer, until a certain point. I've worn these the most of all my pairs and in the beginning I thought these were fading slowly, but then a one point it flipped and the fades came in a couple of months. I really like the leg twist on these and the selvegde ID, is to me, the best I've seen so far. I like that the selvedge is a bit funky and it reminds me slightly of Kusama's paintings.
