This guy Naoki Ohno from PSA told me he had them raw. I ended up ordering through Sharp Service because I wanted to buy a few more items through them and they'll get a raw pair for me from Pants Shop Avenue, if I understood things correctly.

A good thing to hear from you, because when you look for the raw ones on Google or Rakuten, you just don't find them (I didn't). I'll keep you posted!

fit from the front looks good... but from the back it looks like they are buried in your ass... kinda the oppisite of the anti-fit that they are supposed to have

^you mean the ones that are labelled black but are actually grey? afaik, only aztec and myself have a pair but we haven't given it much wear, i'm actually selling mine because it has been laying around collecting dust..

I think Self Edge refers to that model as the 2009, and I seem to remember Kiya saying it's been a very good seller for them. Not much discussion of it here though.

hmmm I was just in SENY and saw the Sugar Cane 2009s and Eric said that they are quite relaxed fit and a lighter weight making for a nice summer jean. The measurements from BiG also make em look like a more relaxed version of say the LVC 1947 version.

Definitely not more relaxed than the original '47, they're notably slimmer. I do agree that they're make a great summer jean tho - they're light and the weave is isn't too tight/still breathable.

I think the cut would be fairly similar.
