  9. Received the 163 today. I love it, but just find the arm to be restricting. The arm hole is a lot smaller / higher than most. i put a picture comparing it to Freewheelers’ 601xx 1942. It's about 1.25 - 1.5 inches smaller

  11. My first thoughts too. They had a chance to drop a reworked First Edition Kit or just a 1:1 version made from modern materials, with posters from Rudnick, maybe some VA album on USB from Raster Noton etc. The J100-WS is ugly as hell though and definitely not worthy of the J100 title.

  14. the 1082 is my most-worn chino – I'll go for these over my BR, Pherrow's or FW pairs (though they're all great in various ways)... perhaps it's because they're the right length for me without any need for alteration so the character of the hem can be preserved. I have a second pair just in case, but in 33 (34 is ideal for me) – they are hard to track down, good job @Talan striking while the iron is hot

  15. ^ not from a social standpoint, though the UK is a mess there too. I read that Le Pen is winning an alarming share of the vote for the party previously called the National Front... basically racists... sad days... hopefully the right way prevails Anyway best get back to denim eh!!!

  16. I have to wonder where in the process this was seen as a good move. Especially since the brand already carries -ws products in stock on ms at the moment, there are many available substitutions at a lower price point. I get that ACR isnt supposed to care blah blah, but it feels like a poorly thought out release and like a project that will never break even. I dont see these selling. I agree with the gripes about the J100 title too, wasted opportunity.

  23. Gave my 507RB a wash the other day. This jacket gets some good wear as a gardening layer and has seen its fair share of spills at the skatepark. Don’t see this specific jacket posted much so thought I’d share.

  27. The reason for this is because years ago the common sizes for jeans were 28 to 32, but as people got larger over the years manufacturers stuck to the old sizing method which is to skip the odd sizes in less common sizes. Now the best selling sizes (in the west) are 33 and 34 (in Japanese brand sized jeans), meaning most companies should be making 35 and 37, but they don't.

  29. Went into Self Edge today looking for a Hawaiian shirt fully expecting to buy something from Sun Surf and walked out with this instead. Love the print and the fit is really nice, will be bringing it on vacation next week. Plus it was my wife's favorite, so had to get it.

  37. This is awesome. What a day. Funnily enough, this happened to me as well. Started with my eldest child coming into our bedroom at 6AM on a Saturday asking why cows where in our yard. You can assume my response... not nearly as great of an adventure as yours. No denim involved.
