I don’t wear these 1947 jeans as much anymore but they’re looking great. I’ve the last round of repairs on the fabric and stitching fixes, i leave them as only occasional wear so they don’t get too messed up.

Just got this SC 91-B Leepro in and haven’t been able to find much info on the product code SC10716A. There’s no care tag with the materials, but the blanket lining feels like there is some polyester in it. Giving it a hot wash right now, will post more pics when it’s dry.

I don’t know about this model but there’s an M-series Storm Rider on Yahoo Auctions where the wool liner is given as 80/20 wool/nylon. I would guess that this would be similar.

^ On what basis would you guess that this would be similar? They’re very different models, and made 30 years apart…

Mostly just a poor guess in the absence of any other information. There are a few real blacker lined Lee 191-LB jackets on various market places but unfortunately none of them have any composition tags. It could be a wool/rayon blend too since rayon was popular in that historical era and rayon blends have a distinctive hand feel from 100% wool (usually a little smoother than wool or wool/nylon)
 

I did find a really poor photo of the SC composition tag for this repro. Unfortunately I can’t read Japanese and it’s too blurry for me to make out the numbers but I dropped it here anyway in case anyone has better luck decoding it

Hmm yes, 'winky face' indeed. Nice to read but disappointing in the detail as usual. For example "Even the poorly done stitching on the waist belt is identical to the original". Looking at the two photos above that statement, it clearly isn't identical. The stitching in some of the other pics are different colours on the og compared to the lighter yellow of the repro. And l wish Sugarcane would take the flasher and ticket off for photo comparisons, as it blocks the view of the rear top block. 

Anyway I'm happy with my FW 1942'S 🙂

I'm not as deep down the rabbit hole on this subject as some of you, but I'm surprised indeed that they didn't copy that bit of orange stitching on the originals. It seems crazy considering the amount of trouble they've gone to in general.
