Full Count Denim Thread

Quick question reg. those shorts here:

https://fullcount.co/products/1004-1-denim-easy-shorts

It says the waist for M and L sized shorts is 68cm and 70cm respectively. That seems super small. What am I not getting?

Thanks.

The waistband is elastic, so I'm thinking the measurements are taken when the waist is completely unstretched. Still seem oddly small though. Bears has more reasonable measurements.

Fit-pic of my 0105

@oomslokop many thanks ooms!

@smoothsailor yes, compared to my Evisu lot.2001, these 0105 has better fit for me personally. Rise isnt too high, and the leg not so that wide, you gotta get some:D

Has anyone got the 1108 and the orslow 105 was hoping for a comparison I can’t decide which one

The orSlow has more room in the hips and thighs. The 1108 is pretty slim in those areas in comparison to the waist.

Treated myself to a pair of 1108XX today. Despite always having gone with the 1109XX, the last pair I had were just too tight in the thighs after the second wash (plus... eh... maybe lockdown wasn't too kind).

Do any of the UK posters want them? They're in decent condition. 30x34, washed twice, had a crotch repair done, never hemmed but always worn rolled up a few times. Yours for free (if you're happy to cover postage).

Jeans: FC1108, (3 years)

Shirt: Polo Ralph Lauren (poplin shirt)

Belt: Tanner Goods Classic Belt (2 years)

Boots: Timberland Yellow Boots

FC1108 is certainly the most comfortable jeans pair available in premium Japanese Selvedge denim marketplace , in addition to sufficient vintage denim features, fading potential, beautiful stitching and sewing threads color used. Another small detail is impressive inseam stitching / needlecraft added by contrast of yellowish green color thread.....

Not much in my opinion.

I hadn't worn Fullcount jeans for a few months and put on the 1105 this morning.  I'm posting because I'm reminded how soft Fullcount's denim is.  In terms of comfort and feel against the skin, there's nothing in my experience that quite compares.  I love several other brands (e.g., Ooe, Warehouse), but FC really seems to have the magic when it comes to the softness of the fabric.

My Full Count 1108, at 395 days of wear. Washed numerous times past the 10 month mark or so.

I'm really pleased with how these have turned out. I wore them in the warm months for the past three years, and they're quite comfortable in hot weather and very soft. I like the more vintage-style fading I got on these, and the denim is just great. I'm a little tired of the fit, though, which is a bit slimmer than I prefer nowadays. It's not uncomfortable, just seems somewhat proportionally weird in some ways (such as the really narrow fit through the hips.)

@Cold Summer This confirms my opinion that FC standard fabric is the best indigo in the business, by a margin. So, so beautiful.

This is the first real vintage-style denim I've faded, and I really like how it looks. I think I'm going to prefer my Warehouse banner denim once it's faded, though, so stay tuned.

Cold Summer, the 1108 is a trim fit through the hips and thighs, no doubt.  You may want to try the 1101 or 0105 -- both more forgiving in this area.

1101 a size down from my 1108 would have fit me well, but nowadays the inseam is too short in my size, so I missed that boat. Oh well.

^ Didn't realize the inseams are shorter now.  My first FC pair was an 1108 in 36x36 (still have it but don't wear it), followed by the 1101 and 0105 in both 33x36 and 34x36.

Is Warehouse running the same fabric as they did in 2012? If so, it's no contest for me. My 1001's from then have nothing to offer my 0105's in terms of faded indigo beauty. It's the warmth of the red caste in FC that I just don't see in fabrics other than the occasional White Oak creation.

One of the aspects of Full Count denim that I particularly like and isn’t often mentioned, is the vertical falling. This is often remarked upon as a feature of other brands such as Flat Head & Eternal and left hand twills but seems to be overlooked with Full Count. The combination of this with their soft denim is an absolute winner in my book.

They are definitely softer and than anything else I have they have a feel like no other denim

1101s

My pair from a few years back… I haven’t worn them in years. All repairs by hand, I just sent them out to a friend for some actual repairs so maybe I’ll post some better quality pics soon

      Hello,

I only accept PayPal and I always ship via USPS priority mail with signature confirmation within one business day, but normally the same day. All prices include shipping and handling. No returns.

I used the "Blue In Green" method for measuring the pant and jean.

ALL items in this thread are Mint... never worn.

      Without further ado....

      Hysteric Glamour x Dickies

These were part of a collaboration between the Japanese brand Hysteric Glamour and Dickies. These are a very skinny fit are a 65/35 poly/cotton blend (much more softer than American Dickes), and they have a back cinch. They are a size 32, but like I said before they are extremely skinny.

      Size 32

      Measurements:

      Waist: 16.75" / 42.55 cm

      Inseam: 31.5" / 80 cm

      Thigh: 11.5" / 29.20 cm

      Knee: 8.75" / 22.23 cm

      Front Rise: 8.5" / 21.60 cm

      Back Rise: 13" / 33 cm

      Hem: 7.75" / 19.69 cm

      Hip: 19" / 48.26 cm

      Full length: 40" / 101.6 cm
