Jelado 301XX "Age of Longing"

Here is some info about how they analyzed the denim of some deadstock Levi's to produce this new denim "Last Resort"

And now to the obvious photo bomb...

I didn’t realise there was no Jelado thread - and that’s surprising given how long they’ve been going and how wide the range is. Nice fit on the jeans

If there was, I didn't find it. Just some info spread in the Unknwon thread and No Kipple therad as they carried Jelado back then.
And thanks :)

I went to their store in Daikanyama a few years ago. Pretty nice shop actually, and a worthy stop in one of the denim quarters in Tokyo.

Lovely stuff too!

@beautiful_FrEaK Fit looks great! When you get a chance, would you mind taking a rear fit pic from a higher vantage point? Trying to get a feel for how the asymmetrical pockets look in practice

Thanks Julian. I will do that shortly. But the asymmetrical pockets are definitely noticeable...at least it feels that way :D

They have the hideout store in Shibuya, near Japan Blue,  marvins etc. That's a cool little store.

Google maps says permanently closed though so may be gone now.

Damn I miss Tokyo.

Nice fit b_F.  Those back pockets make my Freewheelers 1944-45 look symmetrical.

Do they come in size 35?

They have great customer service.  I’ve bought a few shirts from them.  Make sure you talk to Kuma!

@julian-wolf here you go. Two pictures from a higher angle. The asymmetrical pockets aren't that "in your face"

I guess if – globally speaking – we're ever again in a position to edge past someone seated in a confined space and worry about whether we present the arse or the crotch view, you're unlikely to be chastised for your asymmetrical pockets...

i've wanted to try the 66s for a while, but i hate the back pocket stitching and had a bad experience in the past with a seam ripper...

The 66 is interesting with the burnished (?) buttons. The denim is inspired by the 40s though so not the usual lighter indigo colour. The arcs are indeed quite high and flat so yeah, not the best look. Seam ripper was no problem for me on the 301XX but I got a bit nervous the nearer I came the constructional seams :D
