Chiming in on the Birks chat...

Meet my slippers... super comfy footwear

Had these about 10 years, worn most days over that period, starting to fail but reckon there's a plenty of life in the old dogs yet

I also have the Boston clogs (comfy but not the best lookers imo) and Zurich which I like a lot more

Joining in on the Birk love, this is a pair of Bostons that I've had since maybe 2016. Worn mostly to take the dog out or for quick errands.
Don't really do much with them in regards to care, just lathered them up with some Obenauf's as they were looking a bit tattered.

And a pair of Rancourt Ranger Mocs that I got back in 2020 when they were running a crowdfunding promo.
Similarly to the Birks I don't ever do much with these, these are also freshly coated with Obenauf's.
Probably would look nicer if I put shoe trees in 'em, but I can't be bothered...

Got a pair of the MOTO #2121 in light brown Latigo

Wore them every day for around the first two weeks straight, but figured I should condition them before going much further

Photos are after a quick wiping + brushing off, but before any conditioning

@mlwdp I guess because of it purpose..the sole are thick and heavy..for a firefighter walking on burnt surface like burnt grass compound..must be so hot if thinner sole we can feel like walking on frying pan.

They are very similar to the first pair of trickers I’ve had for 25 years and are still my favorites but these are low

Those look great @spidereye. Will you use them for riding your motorcycle or just dress wear? They seem really versatile and like they could go either way.

Anybody have experience with Horatio footwear out of London? I’m curious about the sizing since they don’t offer half sizes.

I don’t, but they don’t look particularly good looking at their website and media info - what drives your interest?

I wanted some JM Weston looking loafers at not JM Weston loafers prices but I should listen to my age old saying: “Buy nice or buy twice.”

What’s your budget?

There’s Cheaney at around £400, Trickers have a sale on some styles down to £325, or what’s wrong with GH Bass - cheaper and (I think better) than those Horatio shoes?

Took a chance on these years back but they never fit, so now I'm posting these kinda rare discontinued Redwing 9015s on the 'Bay but thought I would share them here too fir posterity. Built like little tanks.
