@Duke Mantee What are some of your pieces you would never part with? Which haven't been worn in the longest?

Probably my jeans and the wabash I’d keep - I think it’s mostly heavier coats I haven’t worn so much. Too many items to list really … and maybe when push came to shove there might be items I think I don’t want and actually do - I dunno

I always liked the look of wabash but would probably end up as something sitting in the closet for years for me. Just curious for recommendations to keep in mind, not for a sale.  I'm really happy with my collection, the new jacket  was one I was looking for a long time.

Is anyone getting the fishboar?

I have similar feelings towards wabash, I feel like it's a little difficult for me to wear for some reason.
I like the look of the Ironalls wabash shirt after it's been worn a bit, but mine hasn't seen much frequent wear. Might try to incorporate it into the rotation more frequently.

And the figurines are funny, I'm a FW fan but not that much of a fan. They're not cheap!

I could be wrong about this, but I think the inspiration is from one of the FW head honchos Kendo Maruyama, as he seems to be very into collectible figurines.
They've been listed as "advertisement figurines", so think of it kind of like a pair of those massive vintage Levi's that retailers used to hang in their shops as displays.
You can check his Instagram here and see some of his collectibles: https://www.instagram.com/kendomaruyama/
Also the figurines are much larger than I originally thought, the product photos don't really give them a proper sense of scale.

A sea pig … it lived in the North Sea on Olaus Magnus’s 1539 Carta Marina

It was depicted on a few pieces of the collection in past years if I'm not mistaken; I think on a bandana, and a set short sleeve shirt & shorts.

A lot of these monsters that dominated old maps were as ever based on superstitions, tall tales and probably some terrifying descriptions of actual sea creatures

^the Hair Bear bunch, great show! Hannah/Barbera? Anyway my thickly-veiled compliments are obviously just terms of endearment.

And you had some big hair in that shot - l remember being quite envious at the time. And that's before the denim tux steez swings into the equation.

By using pigs, Freewheelers & Co. risk being sued by Studio D'Artisan.

I pulled my old 47s out of the wardrobe earlier.. When i bought them the rivets looked unremarkable

Love the way the Freewheelers hardware ages, I noticed my '37 back pocket rivets are starting to hit that pink stage.

Great photos 00. I go back and forth on how I feel about the denim that they use, but without question The Vanishing West’s hardware is some of my absolute favorite, likewise their variety of constructional threads

They deserve to see battle again. What’s the size? I’ll buy em and repair and put them to abuse working construction
