Finally got around to getting these Okinawas hemmed. I purchased from Self Edge a few years ago and these jeans really hold a special place in my heart. Firstly, these represent kind of an homage to my first pair of unsanforized jeans, the SExSC06, which devoted followers of my ancient post history here will remember were gifted to a Japanese high schooler that lived next to me 12 or so years ago. They’re also an homage of sorts to my father, who has many pairs of my old jeans. As a child he lived on the island of Okinawa for a time during the Korean war. I just love all of the details on these jeans and I’m over the moon with the fit. You’ll have to excuse the mess as we’ve a 3 year old wreaking havoc on the home daily. I threw in a vintage Taco Bell dog plushie we found lying around as an Easter egg for you.

Still a sneakerhead.. albeit vicariously 😋 My boys new Blk/Cement 2s.. he's on the cusp of outgrowing his breds ..so f'kin bad ass! ..released on the 23rd 😎 .. ..and just so he doesn't beat the crap out of them.. a pair of SB Blazers ..which i got half price in the Nike Store End of Season Sale ..they'll get beat.. replacing his battered Boston's 🤣 ..now if i could just bottle that new sneax smell.. i'd be rich.. rich i tell's ya!

Kitty wore the J115 to the Rick show and E made sure to capture her wearing it for the social media tease, next was the itemized newsletter followed by ACR uploading the entire Drop A photo catalog onto the IG page, AND now for the first time ever we are forced a page upon accessing the mothersite offering the "exclusive" J115/J117 in your face so you couldn't possibly miss them. This is why I phrased my wording as "wandered too far from the path they were once following to success". Guaranteed if those jackets were instead J28E/J1AS in mothersite exclusive colorways.......they would be soldout.

Denim Fisherman's Cap 90s Button Fly tee Cheap vintage belt Cotton and hemp selvedge 501s Threadbare bandana Chippewa Some of the slubbiest denim I've seem on a pair of 501s. Nice deep color, great texture, denim feels lighter weight than my STF but they run a bit hotter than standard denim. Not quite raw but plenty of starch and indigo. Can't wait to see how they fade. Been waiting for most of my adult life to buy hemp goods grown on US soil and these do not disappoint.

Love this Kapital trucker.
