  4. Just got this SC 91-B Leepro in and haven’t been able to find much info on the product code SC10716A. There’s no care tag with the materials, but the blanket lining feels like there is some polyester in it. Giving it a hot wash right now, will post more pics when it’s dry.

  5. Here they are. Quite different to what is up on the yamane site now. The free tote bag I got with them has been well used, it’s been around the world and up and down NZ several times. Gotta go iron the brim of my hat so it’s safer to go outside.

  8. Just saw this on the TCB early 37 C page. Apparently they are calling it (41 model with reverse yoke) late 37, produced in 40s. There also seems to be a mid 37 model.

  9. Here’s my dad and myself, December 1989. He appears to be doing some work on the front door frame in a well faded pair of 501s. Good fit on these.

  13. Mostly just a poor guess in the absence of any other information. There are a few real blacker lined Lee 191-LB jackets on various market places but unfortunately none of them have any composition tags. It could be a wool/rayon blend too since rayon was popular in that historical era and rayon blends have a distinctive hand feel from 100% wool (usually a little smoother than wool or wool/nylon) I did find a really poor photo of the SC composition tag for this repro. Unfortunately I can’t read Japanese and it’s too blurry for me to make out the numbers but I dropped it here anyway in case anyone has better luck decoding it

  16. Slightly off topic but in my experience once the original batteries die you better get used to having old macs plugged into power permanently. Replacements from Apple Store or aftermarket batteries deteriorate very quickly.

  19. My Mister Freedoms have respectably deep pockets. Freewheelers not quite as much but as much as I need. The perfect balance. The king of pocket depth and durability is Tender. Ooe’s pockets leave me with no gripes. Warehouse, TCB, Fullcount all leave something to be desired. My one pair of Sugar Canes are a special edition but those are sturdy and deep enough, can’t say I know the standard cuts though.

  24. I don’t wear these 1947 jeans as much anymore but they’re looking great. I’ve the last round of repairs on the fabric and stitching fixes, i leave them as only occasional wear so they don’t get too messed up.

  27. I think the suggestion above about an inexpensive external keyboard makes sense. Before fully replacing the keyboard on my MacBook Air, I connected an external Wi-Fi keyboard, and while it took some time to get used to, the solution worked. Probably, even a very inexpensive USB keyboard could do the job. I still have an old MacBook Air, I believe from 2011, and a MacBook Pro from 2007. Both still work, though with limited functionality. The keyboards on both are fine, and I’ve never replaced the keys. I don’t remember if anything spilled on the keys, but over so many years, it’s quite possible. So yes, over time, everything becomes more fragile. And we’re not getting any younger either 🙂

  28. My 60s are a size 31, wish I had bought a 32 but they fit. I can also confirm that there was more or less no rise shrinkage on my pair, just a bit in overall length and waist which stretched back out (even more so that I'm about 10lbs up from when I bought them).
