@Lorcan Yes, the 1946 fades relatively quick. If the 1945 fades similar, it would make it easier to fade the jacket. Jeans are ordered/paid now

I bought a 44 in the 45, a 45 in the 44, a 42 in the 43 and a 43 in the 42.

BEARS recently restocked the black 1947 "SC42460" and it looks like all sizes are available. I'm American so getting jeans like these for $137 in our current climate is too good to pass up. 

Curious if anyone has any fade pics, sizing suggestions, or just any other thoughts about this version of the 1947.

I have the SC 1947 in indigo, black/black, and the 42460 black. All the same size and all the same fit. The 42460, I cut into jorts.

Although I splurged more on new pairs this year than I "planned", i also sold 3 pairs. So the balance is kinda kept.

I will post more pics soon but here are the measurements for the curious. I am a bit surprised of the rather big waist but this is not a problem. The thighs are quite slim though but still good for me.

According to one of the EMS workers, it was caused by a bottle of Sake which was included as a gift but needs to be taxed as well. Oh well

The 1945 jeans are very nice.  Same size 34 as b_F with similar measurements (waist, FR, BR, Thigh, Knee, LO, Inseam):

Fit pics with different ways of buttoning.

The jacket feels smaller than the measurements suggest. But I don't plan to layer and wear denim jackets mostly in the warmer months with just a tshirt underneath.

I ended up picking up the 45 jacket in non-wash. Curious how close your jacket shrunk compared to the one wash chart.

I ❤️these Denim Collectables.. my disillusionment caused me to pass them up.. but they do seem like the most significant thing to happen in the denimworld for quite sometime.. from my perspective, my benchmarks was always pre-2007 Japanese Levi repros, followed by 46 repros, i flirted with a few SC 50/50s in the midst and now these.. i've passed up on lots of denim over the years while i've been focusing on my own thing and never regretted it for a second..  but every time i see these bumped, i deeply regret not owning them.

I don’t need them, I just really want them and usually, when that’s the case I would have bought them at the get-go..

When I first heard about them, I wasn’t posting around the forum and did a bit of an eye roll, especially after their recent 46 offerings with ridiculous loose threads at every opportunity.. I’m not going to buy them, I was just hoping the feelings of want would have dissipated by now.

That’s a fundamental question when it comes to everything in life. It’s good to understand where the line is between need and want — and to lean toward the first whenever possible.
