Thank you! Really satisfied with the result especially the blue stitching details. Before i buy this jeans I’ve been searching for the fade result but didn’t find one. It makes me more curious about the result.

S0553XX I bought in 2015 or so. Never really was a type 3 guy but started wearing it recently and I've gotta say it's very flattering

Not to sure I'll actually get around to wearing this thing much, but thought I'd share and bump this thread

I tried searching around and haven't found much or anything. Maybe that's a bad sign?

Anyone have a pair or any experience with the 25oz samurai jeans?

Specifically the S511XX25oz-YY "Kirinji" 25oz Slim Tapered?

I'm very much thinking of getting a pair, but never had something so heavy, and two places I see selling them online in the US have slightly diff measurements. Either way it seems that you'd need to size up quite a bit?

My 33 Benzak x Samurai's have very similar measurements toa 36 in the 25oz single wash.

I have 2 pairs of Samurai 25oz denim. S510XX 20th anniversary size 34, and S500XX 2nd 25th anniversary size 35. I love their 25oz denim, it's one of my favorites. Living in the CO, I can justify the heavy weight in winter conditions. The weave is even, not rough or irregular. I'll go so far as to say luxurious. When new, there's a lot of starch, and they're ungodly stiff. After a wash and some wear, they soften quite a bit and get more compliant. But they're always stiff when compared to a 14oz denim.

Several years ago I bought a pair of  S511 25oz 25th anniversary. The size was to small, and that cut was way too slim for me. Sold them. The S511 is a skinny cut in any denim they offer. Every denim will sew up with slightly different measurements, even though the pattern may be the same. IMO, for this heavy denim, you do not want to go on the slimmer side. Even consider sizing up one and wear a belt. You'll want to the thighs to fit, even if the waist is a little big.

Update on the S140SXJ-GRK - only daily wear for the last couple months because DC is very hot and steamy. A lot of the initial stiffness gave way. Now they're very comfortable and easy to wear. The fabric is crazy. As you can see from the detail shot, the short vertical fibers are fading beautifully. Sizing up from a 34 to a 36 was essential.IMG-20231213-WA0002.thumb.jpg.56a3208030b169bc4f3317759fe74e61.jpgIMG-20231213-WA0000.thumb.jpg.d583b11779993114fe4c2282c1958bc0.jpgIMG-20231213-WA0003.thumb.jpg.3c20ad05ecbadb35bdb59c8ee166c410.jpg

@rockon99 They're looking good. Are these the natural indigo Ai-Benkei ones? Or the Benkei ones?

How do you find the leg opening? I found the taper on these to be tastefully done (no carrot leg), but the leg opening is maddeningly small for size 32. It's hell to slide my monstrous US 13 feet through.

Hello Guys,

I'm interested in S710XX25oz-25TH - 25oz "25th Anniversary Limited Edition" jeans from Samurai.

However, i never deal with Samurai jeans and this kind of heavyweight fabric before.

and because i lived in a country with no raw denim retail store around, all i can do is doing research on the internet to find as much info as possible.

But even with all the info that i can find online, i wanted to ask help from people of this forum to give advice on the S710 cut sizing for 25 Oz.

I normally wear size 32 or around 82-84 waist depends on the jeans weight fabric. I've compared several measurements chart for this produce across several retailer website and for one washed version, size 32 looks to be around 82 cm range and the cut probably a little more roomier than WH Lot 900 size 32.

So the question I'm currently need is, If i go with one wash version, will this Sammy 25 Oz fabric stretch out 1 size like WH Lot 900? Should i buy TTS or is it safer to upsize to 33?

Any answers or info will be much appreciated.

Thank you very much in advance guys.

If you can find the raw measurements they will give you the amount it will stretch back out in the waist.

If the thigh and rise mm's work for you it sounds like you will be OK but I haven't experienced the 25oz denim personally.
