Full Count Denim Thread

I agree Doc - but most likely because the war onwards marked the time of the ‘modern’ jean ... i.e. not ‘overalls’ or not ‘workwear’. Although strangely, fashion (the stuff we all discuss here) is just a bastardised hybrid of ‘workwear’ subsumed into today’s ‘rugged’ environment so really we should all be wearing interwar denim :laugh2:

I agree with you both although as a CSF fan Charlie, I thought you’d have been only too pleased at the plethora of WW2 pairs. Maybe it reflects the balance of their collection?
Anyway, what do people think of Full Count then?!

My biggest complaint about Full Count is that they stopped offering 34" post-wash inseams on smaller waist sizes. I see more and more brands doing this, do they really think the only tall people wear size 36 and up or something? One of the reasons I got into raw denim is because neither 30x32 or 32x34 fits me, I need something around 30x36.

When brands cheap out and try to save a few bucks on smaller sizes by giving them short inseams it just screws taller customers like me. Fortunately I got my 31x34 1108s before they made this change so I'm fine, but there's no way I'm buying more jeans from Full Count because they won't fit me anymore.

Anyone know where I can find some old 1108/1109xx in sizes 30-32 (depending on model)?

New member of the Full count club. Have briefly owned and promptly sold 0105's (way too loose for my scrawny legs) 0108 (too slim- highlighted my scrawny legs) but have just picked up a pair of 1101xx's which i'm pretty damn happy with with. Arc-less and tab-less, which is a shame, but I sewed a tab on for good measure.

Some before and after pics for comparison...

32x32. The fit is remarkably similar to some warehouse s1001’s I’ve been wearing over the past few months. Perhaps a touch lower front rise.
