Full Count Denim Thread

Recommended Posts

There is too much emphasis on the war models and postwar imo. There are no 1915-21's and only one 1922-27 example. Would have liked to have seen more between the war models with different details such as recently discussed.

I agree Doc - but most likely because the war onwards marked the time of the ‘modern’ jean ... i.e. not ‘overalls’ or not ‘workwear’. Although strangely, fashion (the stuff we all discuss here) is just a bastardised hybrid of ‘workwear’ subsumed into today’s ‘rugged’ environment so really we should all be wearing interwar denim :laugh2:

I agree with you both although as a CSF fan Charlie, I thought you’d have been only too pleased at the plethora of WW2 pairs. Maybe it reflects the balance of their collection?
Anyway, what do people think of Full Count then?!

Quite right Maynard - the thread was getting a bit bent out of shape. Sorry

Lovely denim and as good a pair of jeans as any of the 5 ... albeit it’s well past a decade since I owned any

Bit late for that now lads... it's in the post :)

Edit - yep definitely bent out of shape... I commented on the book banter on the last page!

My biggest complaint about Full Count is that they stopped offering 34" post-wash inseams on smaller waist sizes. I see more and more brands doing this, do they really think the only tall people wear size 36 and up or something? One of the reasons I got into raw denim is because neither 30x32 or 32x34 fits me, I need something around 30x36.

When brands cheap out and try to save a few bucks on smaller sizes by giving them short inseams it just screws taller customers like me. Fortunately I got my 31x34 1108s before they made this change so I'm fine, but there's no way I'm buying more jeans from Full Count because they won't fit me anymore.

I actually had a pair of 31x34 1101s. Great jeans, but too loose in the top block, I needed them one size smaller.

About 2 years on these 1101’s. They’ve been put away for now, never really liked the fit.8B1543D4-AAF0-49F4-85CF-7EC1C91180AF.thumb.jpeg.53347fb0be3cb0db7fd97632218b6c70.jpeg50AF4276-6BED-4E40-9655-FDECCF0FD201.thumb.jpeg.52875837a7e44fc9fab6229c8a334c45.jpeg

      Hello,

I only accept PayPal and I always ship via USPS priority mail with signature confirmation within one business day, but normally the same day. All prices include shipping and handling. No returns.

I used the "Blue In Green" method for measuring the pant and jean.

ALL items in this thread are Mint... never worn.

      Without further ado....

      Hysteric Glamour x Dickies

These were part of a collaboration between the Japanese brand Hysteric Glamour and Dickies. These are a very skinny fit are a 65/35 poly/cotton blend (much more softer than American Dickes), and they have a back cinch. They are a size 32, but like I said before they are extremely skinny.

      Size 32

      Measurements:

      Waist: 16.75" / 42.55 cm

      Inseam: 31.5" / 80 cm

      Thigh: 11.5" / 29.20 cm

      Knee: 8.75" / 22.23 cm

      Front Rise: 8.5" / 21.60 cm

      Back Rise: 13" / 33 cm

      Hem: 7.75" / 19.69 cm

      Hip: 19" / 48.26 cm

      Full length: 40" / 101.6 cm
