Sweater is a Shetland from Bosie in ugie pearl. Boots are the Byron’s from Rancourt in Black Essex leather

With the wide(r) sweater these jeans look really tight. It has a bit of a "toothpick"-effect (at least in the first pic).

You'll see in a minute when I post the measurements, but the fit through the thighs is strangely super slim for something that is nearly identical to WH 1001xx on paper

Might have to do with the image hosting website I used for that photo, the built in sufu uploader doesn’t seem to support .HEIC photos so I used another website this time around.

@yung_flynn given your tall frame I think most fits look slimmer on you , similar to Kyle. The same fits on me would look very different.

You can make that look work, but damn if they don't look like an unpleasant pair to wear in practice.

I've been there - I've had pair of W28 in a slim cut that fit just fine at the waist and I did give some wear to, but never again. This was maybe 2014-15 so mixed in with the stretch leggings of everyone else it probably didn't stand out much, but they were given away some years later having seen not more than maybe 2 months total. (Try selling a pair of 28's). I don't think there's anything worse than thighs too small - a denim waist that's within range can stretch but the thighs are another story. 

So yea, I think you can actually pull it off, but if you enjoy pulling it off is another question.

Haven’t posted in a bit on this thread. Rocking some Stevenson Overall salt and pepper trousers I picked up recently from the Community Sale thread. Amazing fabric, sewing, details, fit. Gonna be wearing these a lot on days I feel like wearing not-jeans!

After a few solid months of seeing my young  adult daughter put on a pair of perfectly loose high waist wide leg black denim I finally folded and got myself a pair. 

Just cheap H&M, but they are in a decent mid weight 100% cotton with zero stretch and zero fake distress but the real attraction is the cut. To my eye these resemble a very early mid century cut, full leg, high rise, good pocket placement. My son says they look like 50s trousers. 

Won't replace my regular silhouette but I can see these get a lot of wears.

This one is from last week but I’m going to share anyway because I really like this rugby. It’s a vintage Rugged Wear rugby from the 80s or 90s with big Rubber buttons that reminds me of vintage climbing rugbies. Chinos are Buzz WW2 (complete 180 from the TCB pair I wore yesterday in terms of fit). Shoes are Rancourt ranger Mocs
