30°F outside & expecting the 1st snow late afternoon.  ‘Think I’m falling back to my heavier F/W denim rotation from here on.  Contest pair will be washed & worn indoors til end of winter.

• Initial double hot soak, hang-dried

• Warm soaked 2X since, no wash

• 3mos effective medium-light wear

I am back for a couple days working in my old office, cause myself and the missus were going mad with working both from home on computers doing conference calls most of the time...

with some heavy editing and filters the jeans look almost a bit faded hey

One of the button holes in the fly was unraveling so had to mend it. I think I’m at 4 40C washes at this point. Roping is getting really good and some points of fading is viable for sure. Knees, whiskers and some button impressions on the fly.

Same here, though I haven't got around to mending just yet. No photos at the moment, but mine have taken on an interesting blue wash—somewhat like Tender's overdyed fabrics—after I soaked them for longer than intended and they stewed in their own juice for a bit. Probably should have rinsed them more thoroughly afterward...

Considered continuing unwashed. Gave 'em a good vacuuming. Unfortunately there's a fine dust around here that has the consistency of talcum powder. Once it gets in the fabric it's not coming out without some liquid encouragement & agitation. 

Hopefully I won't be singing soprano when I put them back on.

You'll be fine, they stretch right back out within an hour or so... I've done the hot wash/tumble dry thing on my raw pair at least 6 or 7 times now and they've been very consistent...

Still need daylight to see any progress but they’ve had their first wash after 3 month-ish wear. I think I’ll switch to washing the jeans monthly in the new year. Switching to smaller turn-ups too, as the wear and wash have relaxed the fabric a lot. Great pair of jeans.

So all turned out well with the wash. I'd say the fit is ideal or will be when I've had them on a couple of hours. Legs barely shrank at all. Waist is snug but not uncomfortable.

Still don’t have too much wear on these, think I’ll get them in for a wash this week though. 
Definitely enjoying the fit more after adding a makeshift button hole extender on the top button.

Hi!  Everyone!  The contest has passed three months, and jeans are gradually getting used to my body.

I'm tired of going out (Fucking COVID-19), so I made a (cat) playground for my daughter on Sunday.

Combine it with the spiral staircase that you made a while ago!

 

I cut off a square pillar into an octagon.

I put a split back so that it wouldn't break.

The metal fittings were sprayed with matte black.

First, create a catwalk on an empty beam.
