Interesting that you have that many Samurai jeans but you don't own a pair of the 710's 

Also you have a bunch of the Take 5 collabs.  I go to China two to three times a year.  The Take 5 shop in Hong Kong is great.

I tend to stay away from a leg opening of below 8.0" - in most cases it doesn't work for me.

Also, I don't like tapered cuts too much.

I have never tried S710 or S003JP for that matter - who knows maybe I would end up liking them, but I seriously doubt that.

Yes, Take5 HK, Take5 SH, Take5 Taipei and Take5 BK are great places - I used to live and work near HK for a couple of years and still come to Asia on a regular basis.

PSA, 2nd and Vintage are great shops, too.

I currently have five pairs.  I wouldn't call mine a collection.  Jeans are doubly important to me because my family was in the denim manufacturing business for many, many years but they are just clothes to me.

 

I have two pairs of prAna Axiom jeans, two pairs of Oakley jeans, and one pair of Levi's 559s.  I'm transitioning back to Levi's, Wrangler, Cinch, or perhaps Lee as my primary brand (most likely Levi's) for every day (and I do mean EVERY day) wear.  I'll preserve the Oakleys to wear to MotoGP and F1 races.

My waist went from 38 to 32 so where low rise skinny jeans didn't look good on me before now they did.  With my current taste all of the jeans that I owned are now to wide in the legs for me.  I think clothes should accentuate the body and not hide it as the previous cuts to me did.  Dior has a very nice cut and is Japanese denim and I looked good in them when I tried them on.   Skulls were the same low rise skinny legs.  My current list of denim that I will buy next is SDA 106 or 107, Eternal 883 and Samurai 610 or sized down 0500.  I still am a denim head but have a different aesthetic now.  It's funny that I used some of my previous style to cover my previous out of shape self.  But now that I am in shape I gravitate to more fashion clothes like SLP and Dior.

Plus a LVC 1955 501 that, because of the unflattering fit, is more of a "wear at home/walking the dog/going grocery shopping" pair. Because of that it's getting the most wear out of all my raw jeans

 

So that's the 5 pairs that get "serious wear" right now, but of course I have a bunch of non-selvedge non-raw pairs that I won't just throw out. 3 or 4 501s in different washes, a Levis 527 that still gets some wear because I don't have a raw bootcut yet. Also a really old corduroy 527. And two old G-Star bootcut models that I loved dearly 15 or so years ago and just can't bring myself to throw out.

 

For selvedge jeans, I have 4 more in the pipeline so to speak (from two different kickstarter projects about raw denim), so I should be set in the jeans department for quite some time now.

I am probably in the minority here, but I have gone through a huge transformation body wise. These last two years I've really taken the time to focus on what meals I am eating and keeping up on a regular workout schedule. I was pushing 220lbs when I started and now I am down to 150lbs. Anyways long story short, none of my old clothes fit. So I had to dump all of it and now own only two pairs of jeans.

I've been a jeans/shoes/clothes whore forever, always looking for something that I new existed somewhere, but could never find it. Thought maybe I was just living a fantasy. Until I discovered selvedge denim - embarrassingly - only a couple of years ago, and Japanese denim even less than that. My style has always been somewhat refined industrial work wear. I work from home and wear jeans 24/7, except for a couple months in the summer when it's too hot. 

 

I've been through countless pairs of Levi's and Carhartt's, bought, sold, donated and tossed. Then I thought I was "fasionable" and went through many pairs of 7's, Energie, Joe's, Big Star, Lucky, True Religion ,G-Star (I actually have a soft spot for G-Star 'cuz I think they are a pretty cook company and have some edgy designs), and prolly some others. Now they're all gone - the last batch of Levi's, Lucky's, TR's & G-Star's  all ebay'd to make room for new Japanese selvedge.  

 

I've still got a couple pairs of Levi's 505's - for some reason 501's and I don't get along very well (at least the latest version). And some other random Levi's & Carhartt's for getting dirty in.
