Sugar Cane 1947 - hot soaked once, then hot washed later for more shrinkage. now they've been worn infrequently since november ( but have been getting a lot of attention in the last few months ) and haven't been soaked or washed since the initial soaks.

^fuck fuck fuck fuck those look amazing!

a bit bummed i'm not gonna wear my hawaii's much in the next 2 years with the Eternal contest starting, but I must say, the Okinawa denim you've got there puts anything to shame.

Yeah, they're actually turning out pretty damn awesome. Though I wasn't super chill with the fit when I first got 'em, they've turned into my second skin no joke. I've been posting photos on and off here and there, but I'll definitely take some time later this week and put some some comprehensive fade evo pics here and in the 811 thread, for posterity's sake.

^^ woah, really? My experience was that they took forever...about 7 months for some serious whiskering to get in there!

That may be so, but i can already see subtle whiskers and combs, there's also a slight wallet fade. But the 2 hidden back pocket rivits closest to the center of the jeans are already white and so is the dead center of the seat were everything is stitched together.

Oh boy... I want it all...

yes indeed. i've never really looked at much of their clothing other than the jeans. but that's some really cool stuff. might have to ask my mother-in-law to proxy me some of that shit from Japan...come to think of it. I should use her for that service more often.

It indeed is cool stuff. Generally everything that comes from TOYO (MF, SC, Buzz R, ...) is top notch if you ask me. And there's more interesting stuff to come...:)

I don't think anyone is selling this stuff yet. Vinneus' post says F/W '11 so I guess we'll have to wait a year

Excellent remark... but it does concern Fall & Winter 2010/11. Pics are ours btw.

My often updated SC66's...Gave them another wash after getting home from travels last week and they seem to fade at a faster rate now...I'm gonna need a new setup and place to take denim photos, everything is always so blown out...But what else can I expect with a 6 year old point and shoot... :X

They have actually faded a bit more since these pictures were taken...Here is a more accurate color portrayal of them in detail:

Tempted to buy a pair of beater 47's if I can find them on the cheap...time to scour eBay!

Got some Sugarcane Union Stars but I'm unsure whether to keep them or sell them, mainly because I don't know whether the fit looks too baggy. Opinions?

They do look a little odd since they're pretty wide up top/tapered below. Don't know if I'd say to keep or sell.
