Full Count Denim Thread

New Jeans Day for me today.  Not exactly the pair I was looking for, but I saw that they were on sale and I've never owned a pair of Fullcount.  Fit is perfect, which is good because it was a final sale.

Just grabbed my first pair of Full Count's. L0105XX 50's. FC's were always on my list and seeing limited made me snatch them up. I'll fit them into my rotation somehow, as long as I stop these impulse buys.  Oh well always good to have spares.

You and me both. They feel super wide for the first few hours then I'm like.. oh - this feels great. Whenever I wear anything other than my 0105SSW, they all feel so tight and rigid by comparison. Overnight I saw that Cultizm had an extra 15% off sale items so just picked up some 1101SSW for a mere $167(!) as well because the Super Smooth fabric is great for SoCal and so comfortable. Think they may replace current daily Warehouse's as this fabric is just magic.

@indigoeagle, they're not meant to be. I notice no significant difference between them. You can literally measure the same cloth garment five times and come up with a variance of 1cm. Don't overthink it.

I have just tried on the super smooth 0105 in 33.
And I found them much wider than my "normal" 0105 in 34.
I then checked the measurements on the maker site and it confirmed, what I had noticed.
But perhaps this pair was a bit wider. Not sure.

But good to hear that you found them to fit basically the same.

I think, it has been stated by some users here that they found the waist to fit about one size bigger.
So I'll probably stick with the 33 in these.

@indigoeagle FWIW - I had the SS in a size smaller (29) than the regular 0105 (30).

My SS, only worn one or two times, were larger in both the waist and thighs than the bigger size of the 13.7 oz denim. I really needed a belt with the SS. I usually don't wear one.

I'm not sure if it was the way they were sewn or if the fabric just gave that much in such quick wear time - but the real life factor was even more than a size bigger, closer to 2. I've since sold them so I can't provide any measurements.

Apologies, I was not meaning to say that size to size they should be the same (30 in both are not the same measured size necessarily), just that the proportions for the true size are intended to be the same. It's the same pattern. That being said, I don't even know for sure what sizes I have. I think I have 13.7oz in 31 and SS in 32? Again, when you're playing a game of 1cm here or there on a measuring tape, you're playing to satisfy your own neurosis, not a distinguishable fit difference at five feet. I am not intending to devalue your desire to know those things and satisfy yourself, but the net result after three minutes of wear is nothing to anyone but you when discussing a completely wide legged relaxed fit. If you're wearing Iron Heart 666's, that 1 cm could mean the difference between maintaining an ability to continue your bloodline or not.

Pretty crazy how much texture super smooth has for such a lightweight fabric. This is after a few washes and one tumble dry. Taken in direct sunlight, still pretty damp.

Gave my 0105ss' their first machine wash and they shrunk more than I thought even on cold. Inseam shortened up a little and got some more leg twist. They've already loosened up quite a bit after a day or so of wear. Really enjoying these so far!

@jkbrwn the 1101's from WAYWT and further up here are looking great.

Size wise - did you just go with the same size as your 0105's? (I think you have some of those too right?)

Thanks pal. I did. They’re both a 38”. I easily could’ve done a 36” waist size but my thighs would’ve said no… I also wanted to have the flexibility of beating them up a bit in a washer/dryer as I’ve not really done that before. I feared that a 36” would’ve shrunk too much. Rear rise feels significantly higher on the 0105. I got my WWII 0105 in a 36” and they’re a good fit too, but I think I prefer the extra rise I get from a 38”.

Does anyone have the 0105’s in either a 34 or 35 that they could share measurements of?

I feel like a lot of places just use the same size chart so I’m not really sure what’s accurate but I’ve seen of couple sites list conflicting measurements and have them slightly undersized in the waist.

I wear 34 in freewheelers and warehouse and I have the 0105 and 0105 ss in 33. I could share measurements of those if you like. I had 0105 in 34 but the waist stretches a lot even after putting in dryer so I sized down to 33

Here it is for my 0105XX sz 34 (worn at least a full 60 days, washed 3+ times): waist: 92cm, front rise: 31cm, back rise:45cm, thighs: 35.5cm, knees: 25cm.

@OutSider - were they bought one washed by Full Count?

If so, I bought my 0105 hemmed by them at 72cm, I coincidentally measured the inseam last night and it's pretty much bang on 72cm still - after having a few more washes and I think a turn in the drier.

I think their washing process is fairly thorough!

Wanted to post my pair of Full Count 1110XX

These are slow faders (!) as mentioned before in the thread (by B_F and others, I think), I’ve worn them regularly for 3,5 years and washing them regularly after the initial 4 months without wash – the sales clerk advised me to :)

The fit is quite slim and it tappers which matches my preference when I purchased these back in 2021.
The top block is the best I’ve tried. It was snug to begin with but now it sits nicely and the rise is high but not too high for my liking.

The denim is nice, it is quite regular and has a good feel while wearing. The colour is quite dark but the faded blues are really nice, especially when the sun is out (which is rare this winter…..)
The 15 oz work well here in Denmark for most of the year.

This is my first experience with 100% cotton threads (I think) and it holds up quite well except for the seat part which blew out way to quick, I’m biking in these but it lasted maybe 5 months – the repair was done with polythread so it holds up fine.
That and the pocket bags are the only repairs need so far.

i like stitching on the back pocket and on the arches coming apart and revealing a little non-fades line where the stitch used to be

also some nice fading on the belt loops (the blue colour of the pants is not as prominent in the photos them in reality, i think)
