if 47 is my finial choice, is it good to size down? i usually wear a 32, 31" what waist size should i buy? im rather short too, 169cm only. on my normal 501 W32,L32.. its still too long for me, should i get 47501 L32 or L34?

But if you're ok with a 32 or 31 jean you want a 34W 1947, whihc will probably measure 33W, shrink down to 31 and stretch back to 32. Check with your supplier first though for actual waist measurement. And we can't answer your query about leg length unless you tell us what leg lenght you need!

Those two jeans couldn't be more different in terms of cut..

The BiG Red Ears are early 1900's repro's in terms of cut.. the DB Red-D jeans are a modern slim cut with a smaller leg opening..

the paul smiths' are in limited production though...
