1937 got a little custom fades when I was dragging around an extension cord that had wet pink spray paint on it…. Not upset about it. Custom 1/1!11 points

Yes I'm wearing the same T shirt but the lighting was perfect yesterday.so I wanted to capture the denim on these jeans. Trashed Disney tee 5EP x StyleForum jean (2007) Vintage belt and buckle Polo socks Vans pro slip A slim straight cut (with just a bit too low of a front rise) and lots of neat details (hidden rivets, tonal fly, hidden back pocket design, natural patch and stray red threads) but the real attraction is the fabric. Hand dyed 13.5 oz Zimbabwean cotton with a mix of synthetic and natural indigo by Christine "Godmother of Denim" Rucci and rope dying master Sakamoto in Kojima, the color is just spectacular. Green, purple, or red cast indigo depending on the light with dark inky pools contrasting with turquoise highlights, and a slightly ecru weft. Might be my all time favorite denim. The photos do little justice.5 points

Have you owned any Darn Tough socks? Saying they "don't hold a candle" seems a bit strong. I have over 20 pair of Darn Tough and have owned some for 8-10 years. No holes, no problems. They make everything from over the calf snowboarding socks to thin no shows. I wear them year round from 90+ to below zero weather. If someone asks for a sock recommendation, I have no hesitation to recommend them. GoBros.com routinely has them on 25% off sales if anyone is interested in trying them.2 points

My pair of Chup socks beat 6 months (in the wrong direction) for longevity. Holes in the heels within a couple of dozen wears.1 point

ah yes. i forgot, a lighter dye and slightly wider model than 051ss. i think they discontinued this model, only a couple of pairs left in Taobao. Redcloud has a similar replica model called F 427s, sloppy sewn late 70s model. i think i have posted some pics in Redcloud thread before. really wanna see a worn pair and how they fade..1 point

Photo above came to mind after seeing Mr. Uncle Frank post his freshly cleaned TCB in the other thread. Working my way slowly through this thread from the beginning, both out of interest and to avoid too much repetition. Not sure I’ll succeed. But these popped up early on. Anyone know whether these are quilts from Gee’s Bend?1 point
