Very nice! I love that patch. Looking forward to some more photos.

I'll do my best on the photo's but don't expect too much, one of the main attractions on this pair were the raw measurements that were given, which seem generous for a 34" waist, also they don't have the short inseam disease...

Flat measurements
Waist about 46.5cm
rise about 32.5cm
inseam about 90cm

@Foxy2 I have a funny feeling they might be the same period as my "mystery" Lot 2012xx, the patch is the exact same, I also expect them to have the pink selvedge line.

These are the other pair with the pink selvedge, Lot 2012xx. I can't find anything about this model, they are very slim, I wouldn't be surprised if they used this pattern for the Lot 900.

Both seem to be the 14.5oz denim as they are very similar to my Lot 700 and Lot 800. Lots of very nice subtle and traditional details on them and yes, I am a sucker for an offset belt loop, thanks for asking.

Edit to say that I believe that the 2012xx date from sometime during 2004-2008, judging by the patch.

yes, would be interesting to confirm.

the old patches often had spelling mistakes - the more recent patches mostly corrected that - but with the special releases I would think that the embossing on the rivets and the backing of rivets and buttons might be more telling as it seem that WH had been using their custom hardware,

I see what you mean, I took a look at the 3 pairs of pink selvedge pairs today and the only one that looks like it has any thing interesting going on hardware wise is the Lot 1101, the other 2 have hardware that looks exactly like your pair of 1001xx on page 268. The rivets have the "K.K." rather than the earlier "O.K." and the buttons have the powdery white-ish finish, which as per @kameidaclub post, also in page 268, means they're post 2002. The lot 1101 have hardware like this...

i-img1200x899-15546970545eiulp345314.jpg

The fly buttons look the exact same as the Full Count 0105 buttons, almost like they're made by the same company, which they probably are.(???) They also have the period correct non push through rivets with the nickel backing, which you should be able to see here...

i-img1200x900-1554697069szgovq350778.jpg

Incidentally, not that I want to be mister enabler, but the pictures above come from this listing, which is for a pair of Lot 1101 in size 32, which are the exact same as my pair in 34. They are very good value at their current price and if you're a 32 waist and looking for a perfect pair of 66 cut jeans, I'd say go for them.

nice - custom hardware and custom tooling for said hardware is indispensable if you want to do it right (i.e. authentic looking) and important for brand building.
it is also quite expensive.

it often forces the brands to amortize costs through big volumes - meaning they will use the new hardware for quite some time while the denim, the patches, the cuts, the styling and even the manufacturer will change.

If I was going to nitpick about this pair as a 66 cut, and I mean extreme nitpicking here, can anybody spot the one glaring error in the 66 cut details of this Lot 1101???

the V-stitch?

Chainstitch on the coin pocket?

V-stitch at the button can sometimes be found on 60s Levi's if I remember correctly.

ok - but how can you see that the coin pocket is chain stitched? just a wild guess?

the right side for chain and lock stitch are identical...

Black bar-tacking stitch used at the top of the back pockets.

Yeah you guys are right :D

No they're not.:D

Nope, nope and nope. Even though you people have the audacity to describe yourselves as "Denim Heads" you have failed, failed miserably, although you were kinda on the right track with the bar-tacking, tepid but not warm. For the record, there's no chain-stitch on the coin pocket, which I believe is period correct for all Levi's from the 1960's. You'll kick yourselves, or more than likely, want to kick me when you find out what it is.

If I was an internet scammer this is the part where I would ask you to send your credit card details to find out the answer and achieve true happiness.

The clue was in the wording, "tiny detail".

Getting annoyed yet? I know I am.

If you look at the bottom of the fly, there is a very small bit of bar-tacking in yellow stitching just above the orange stitching, probably completely useless in the overall structural integrity of that part of the jeans, think crotch rivet level of uselessness. I only really noticed it myself when I compared my L.V.C. 1966 pair with the Lot 1101.  I have never seen this type of bar-tacking on any other reproduction model, only on the 1966 ones. Check out your own collections and see if you can find it. I would guess they stopped doing it when they realized that it probably made no difference at all and wasn't really necessary. I looked on juke_kakui insta to see if I could find any genuine true vintage 66 models to show this feature and these are the best I could find...

If you have a pair of L.V.C 66's you can see it for yourself, just another pointless, useless detail to get excited about.

Got myself a basically brand new second hand warehouse on yahoo auction. I was wondering what denim is it made of? Banner denim or the 14.5 oz ? My model is a 800 with the actual patch but the buttons are a bit different than the actual model. The denim feels really light, more light than TCB 50. Almost like the XX from OOE. Some slub, essentially horizontally. Feels different than the banner denim from my 2002XX jacket. No red tab and the batch tag is cut off. Any clue?

Lot 800 are always 14.5 to the best of my knowledge.

Thanks ! The denim feels and look different from the most recent batch of 800 I’ve seen at BurgAndSchild which was slightly slubbier and with more nep. I’m not a warehouse expert at all. Anybody have any other clue ? What about the buttons ?

Trust me, they are a pair of standard Lot 800 from Warehouse, 14.5oz. Nothing weird about the buttons, maybe they have been washed and put in a very hot dryer, that's why they feel different.

I've had 3 or 4 pairs of Lot 800.

I got these in today. Had to wash them as soon as they came in because they smelled like a musty thrift store. I'll do a small write up and post more pics later.

Can anyone tell me what’s the difference between the 800 and the 1001xx fit wise? I have the 800 but they’re a bit tight in the thighs (After I got into squatting).

That looks like a great pick up @JRendon02, judging from the patch they are from around 1998-2003. I like the printing on the Lot and size numbers as well. More pics please, when you get the chance.:D:D:D@kameidaclub posted this chart a while back, very useful.

Found these on therealreal and had to take a chance once I saw the patch. They have some minor wear that you can see on the pockets, crotch, and hem. I’m going to assume these had only been cold soaked and never washed by the previous owner. They came in at a 31” inseam and shrank to 30 3/8” after a warm wash. The fit is somewhere in between my 66 501 LVC and BJ Rare 008. I’m excited to add these to my rotation.

@501XX4EVER thanks for that chart. I couldn’t find it earlier. It is now saved.

Very nice @JRendon02, they look great, very little wear, they do look like they've had a hemming though as there's no chain stitch, but you were right to take gamble on the that patch. I think the whole 1001, 1001xx, 1000, 1000xx not to mention the 1000/1001xx is very confusing but they seem to be a very popular cut in Japan, etc, so it's hard to find the older ones and the newer Lots seem to sell out very quickly.

The chart is fantastic, thanks again to @kameidaclub for posting it way back when.

The denim feels different than the 800s I had. I believe they are both supposed to be the flagship denim, correct me if I'm wrong. If they are both supposed to be the same denim has it changed over the years?
