@Broark I’ve never heard of Discada, thanks for the rec. I’ll add them to my list. La Tunita is already on it.

@chicote I might be in the Austin in a few weeks. If I am I’ll check out comadre. Looks like they are available at Nixta, a place that’s been on my list for way too long. Hopefully I looked up the right place. If you want more places to check out in Houston just send me a message.

My favorite Houston area coffee shop opened up a location close to me. I no longer have to about 30 minutes to get them. The Barista gets bonus points for asking about my jeans My jeans had their 7th trip through the washer and dryer. No major changes.

Wash and dry #6. Every wash I like the color and texture a little more.

@goodrain I already gave it a hot wash and dry. I expect it to fit better as the denim softens. It will be my winter jacket. I already have a denim shirt that I use as a jacket over t-shirts.

I bought @Broark contest jacket and I’m happy with the fit. I know I need to get the sleeves shortened. I think the jacket is just a tad too big but I like not being restricted in any of my movement. I think if I went with the next size down, size 44, I would feel some restriction in the chest. This could all be because I’m used to much tighter fitting jackets. I was reminded at how much darker my jeans used to be. I thought they were still dark.

Trip number 5 through the washer and dryer. One day I’ll do another fit pic.

4th trip through the wash and dryer. I have worn these jeans everyday since the contest started. Some train tracks are starting to show. Other than that, not much progress anywhere else from my last update. I wore my Samurai S3000VX Lot 10 while I did laundry and they felt like hip huggers by comparison. I’m not sure I’ll be able to wear any of my other jeans after this contest ends with out feeling like my crotch is being squished.

    Samurai Jeans

First time wearing my Samurai S3000VX Lot 10. Only wearing them while I wash my TCB contest jeans. By comparison, these feel very low in the rise.
