Fantastic pair! Makes me wish I would still fit in my pair. How did you keep the patch so dark - I assume you washed them a few times at least?

i have not doing some treatment on those patch and i think so, just give them 7 or 8 washes in 2 years, eventhough with machine wash (1 hand wash), keep them still dark...actually, i'd rather love the patch still dark one than faded

883 - i rarely wear jeans in the summer time, so these nearly 1 year-old jawnz have not seen a whole lot. It's just started getting cooler.
Washed once by Eternal and once by me

 

 

The brownish staining on the right thigh is from constantly wiping ground coffee on my pants after leveling and tamping.

So I was wondering, is this normal for eternals or was it just bad luck?

Well that can happen with all brands I guess but I have never experienced it myself. Are they slim fitting? Sized down?

Having them repaired/darned is an option!

This will not be cheap and there will be no guarantee for not rip again or further. But, it will certainly be cheaper than buying a new pair...

I brought them to mr Handy last month and got them back a few days ago. Unfortunately they ripped again after two days, but this time on the left side of my crotch. Guess I'll havo to get them repaired again.

Yeah, bicycle is my main mode of transportation. Already sent an email to Denimio, but they said it was due to the way I wear them.

I hope tot get them repaired again next week and then I'll post a fitpic.

My 883s at around 11 months, 4 or 5 washes cant really remember. only really been wearing them a couple days a week due to dress code changes at work. They need another wash soon in the next week or so. I'll post more pics when they hit a year.

If you find the 888 somewhere, they came raw. Or you might contact naoki of pants shop avenue to see wether he can source a raw pair.

new to eternal, is eternal 883 sanforized or unsanforized? should i soak the denim before wearing those jeans?

The denim is unsanforized but is available in one-wash which means that most of the shrinkage has already taken place. If you have the one-wash version, you don't need another soak.
