I know I pretty much never post, but today was such an amazing day I can't even believe it. One of my favorite living Composers, Eric Whitacre came to our choir rehearsal and ran us through 2 of his pieces (2 of my favorite: Lux Arumque and A Boy and a Girl) and I haven't left cloud 9 after that and a few questions/answers. 

 

 

I actually said the dumbest, most awkward thing to him too before I got to get a picture with him. I meant to tell him how much his music meant to me when I first heard it in high school, and that it was one thing that inspired me to pursue music in college,

but instead, trembling, I ended up saying to him "Your music helped me get through high school"

he replied, "Oh. Really?"

I couldn't recover. I just said "Yes. Thank you. I love it."

 

So one of my favorite composers thinks I was a kid that cried to his music after some sort of teenage angst set in. Lol oh well. Still an amazing day.

 

And you can kind of see my Ooe's. I'm really liking the progress on them, coming up on 1 year now, and they've had at least 1-2 washes a month. I'll post more detailed pics once finals and juries are over. Loving everyone's progress though, what exciting things you all have done!

The shirt is officially 1 years old now and the jeans are coming up on 7 months. Ive worn the shirt almost everyday and it has 3-4 washes on it. The jeans have been a battle they've ripped twice in the crotch now so i haven't been wearing them as much lately. They have 2-3 washes on them now.

We've arrived in Weimar and visited a lot of the Schiller & Goethe buildings. I also took the chance to read some of their works I haven't touched since school. We're really enjoying our stay here, I would even consider moving here.

Quick word on DWC site security guys, if you are using a proxy server or masking your ip in any way then you will struggle to access the site. I have had a few users with these issues recently and this is usually the problem.

My DWC pair (Railcar x021s) should get more attention these days, but they unexpectedly (and perhaps permanently) shrank in the thigh/top block on their 9th or 10th wash last month. So, they're only getting 3-4 days a week in rotation with my raw SC Okis (about 5 months of casual wear to date, 4 hot soaks/2 washes) and my Leftfield Black Maria Greasers (2.5 years tons of washes). I'm moving/traveling over the summer, so these are the only jeans I've selected to wear for the next few months, but I've got TCB 60s in mind once we get to September. Cheers

I took some snaps earlier and sat down to do an update, but photobucket is being a pain in the ass and isn't opening up the editing software so I can rotate my photos....

 

What do you guys use to upload, photo bucket has been a pain for a while but I know how to use it so I stuck with it.

Imgur is the best for quick snaps and getting things done quickly

 

I use flickr as a backup for more important photos since it retains a higher quality photo and stores the exif data. Its also nicer to look at

Anyways here's my May update, I havent been wearing much of the gear as it's starting to really warm up inmy area. also I havent been wearing my pants as they have intense rips that need darning. I'm planning on sending them in to indigoproof soon, just need the coin.
