    Ande Whall Denim

13 oz denim in the Caribou cut per my original invoice. Added the fly rivet, shovel heads(which are half lined) and felled inseams. Amazing pair of jeans, wish he was still making them!

    Ande Whall Denim

Been wearing these a lot the past six months, have a small hole on the front pocket but other than that are holding up great. Will get less love while the temperature is up but I will get back to them in the fall.

    Real McCoy's / Joe McCoy's Jeans

Just too add another voice to quality concerns, I have a ballpark zip up that I got maybe 4 years ago or so. Worn a ton, possibly my most worn piece of clothing at this point. Has held up very well, no discernible issues as of yet. I also have an N1 and a flannel shirt, both of which have had no problems and I have owned both for 3-4 years and worn them quite a bit. Disappointing to see all these problems considering I had a high opinion of RMC based on personal experience. Stop by the store relatively frequently and this has made me second guess any future purchases. I kind of wish the sweatshirt would wear out a bit more so I could justify looking for another black zip hoodie, I never loved the pockets or the white hood ties but I have no reason to look for another yet.

  11. Like I said above I see people wear similar styles regularly in Tokyo, it's not some wacky, out there fashion choice or anything.

    Ande Whall Denim

Broke the waist button on these a couple years ago and they languished in my closet till now. Took them to get fixed today so they are officially back in business. No idea how much wear or how many washes but not a whole lot of either. From Ande's last batch of jeans.
  13. I see coveralls worn "fashionably" all the time here in Tokyo, admittedly mostly by women. Went into two different stores today that had examples for sale. My wife has been thinking about getting a pair for a while so my attention ha been called to them quite often. Also, most of the ones I see are at least $200 if not much more.

    What about Jeans Jackets ....

Left Field muleskinner from the first batch, 14oz Nihon Menpu denim, 12oz blanket lining. Owned for 5 years now, worn pretty frequently, few times a week during cooler weather. Lost count of the washes but I would guess maybe 6-7 times. Got a hole in one of the pockets and the cuffs are starting to fray a bit but it still going strong and I have no plan on retiring it, still one of my favorites. Last pic is from the day I got it for comparison.

SC41485HY -- Collabo with Hinoya from a few years back. I busted a belt loop on them a long time ago and finally got them fixed and wearable again. They use the 14oz Okinawa 50/50 denim in a slim fit. Has a neato hair on hide patch. Some info HERE...

    Show Us Around Your Neighbourhood

Not yet but it's on my list, there are so many good pizza places in Tokyo it is kinda crazy. That Savoy pizza place I took a picture of is somehow related to Seirinkan, I think the owner originally started it(it's a small chain now) but now only does the place in Nakameguro. PST, both HigashiAzabu and Roppongi, is also really great option. The food is definitely the best part of living here =). Our neighborhood doesn't have a huge amount food options but they are all at least very good with some definite gems among them and with a 10-20 minute walk we have more options than I would ever dream possible back in the states.

    Show Us Around Your Neighbourhood

Moved to Tokyo about 6 months ago because of my wife's job and we decided on a neighborhood called Yutneji. We are on the Toyoko line one stop from Nakameguro and 7 minutes to Shibuya. Takes me about 8 minutes to walk to the station and in 20 minutes I can also walk to Nakameguro station or Sangenjaya Station. Tried to take pictures that captured the average feel when walking around the neighborhood. Lots of single family homes in this area and extremely quiet, very different from what I expected when we moved to Tokyo. Big family area, lots of young couples with children. There are some very nice temples and shrines in the neighborhood but I decided to skip pics of those for this. Included a couple of my favorite local restaurants and local shops that I frequent. The Tokyo outpost of Big John is at my train station so that is pretty cool.

    Trophy Clothing

@mlwdp still have the runoff on my pair but will probably clip it off myself in the near future. Been on holiday in a hot country so I haven't worn them much yet. Pretty sure they do hemming at the store but I did not personally get my pair hemmed, they were good to go as is.
