If BiG or any other shop decides to make them, then yes. BiG is about to release 2 or 3 new 710 models IIRC. Maybe they have that detail

MaxPower posted something about them some weeks ago. You have to dig a bit or wait until he posts it again. IIRC there was also already a tweet from BiG weeks ago

Yeah but little info on the tweet... Yellow Hawk's are a black version. Supposed to be doing a 15oz and 17oz indigo version but all just rumours at the minute. Nobody has any details.

Went today to the Samurai store here in Osaka to check out the Autuum & Winter collection preview and asked them if they were planning to do something special in the 710 cut and they told me they weren't.

Apparently this particular cut is way more popular abroad (although they didn't have many sizes left in stock) so I guess that is the reason BiG is taking care of the limited edition models for 710.

Is it correct to say the S0500XX is considered a slim straight type of fit?

 

Samurai calls the S0500 the "regular taper" and I think that's pretty much spot on.

yo whats going on . i had to wash my 21oz'ers . i spilled gear oil on them which resulted me in not wearing them for several weeks, I tried EVERYTHING to get the smell out without having to throw them in the washer machine. Although Nothing worked!! I washed them yesterday and the smell is pretty much gone thanks to all the prep work i had to do before , if you wear your jeans during auto work  stay away from gear oil/trans oil.! shit smells like death! I am pretty upset that i had to wash them but they fit a lot better, and smell great. anyways enjoy the evo  of everyday wear since january except the past several weeks.

wasn't feeling the wide-straddled back pockets, so i re-positioned them.  

IMO, the 1" diagonal tweak towards the center made quite an impact on the aesthetic fit.

Looking for a pair of samurai s710, my true waist measured with a measuring tape is 31 inches, I wear a 28 in Eternal 811 comfortably. For this pair of s710 I'm looking for a slim-straight fit that's not too tight. I made the mistake of going size 28 on my skull 5010xx, which are way too tight after the second wash.

 

So I've been thinking of getting a tagged size 30, debating between a 30 and 31 right now. B_f's fit guide warns me not to get a 29 haha, which is unfortunately what BiG has in stock. Anyway I called in and they said they were expecting  a shipment of blue shadows in by mid June and the 15th anniversary 710 in by the end of June, so I have some time.

This is jonsc's pair, anybody remember how he sized?

 

Also I'm debating between the 17 oz vx and 19 oz xx denim, this is my first time buying a pair of Samurais so any help would be appreciated. I'm having trouble deciding because of the lack of blue shadow evolution pics I can find, I know there's a lot of 710 19 oz evolution pics!

^^ if you can wear a 811 in 28 than a size 31 in the 710 is out of question. look into the size 30 (or maybe even 29?!)

They re not that special. I've got 2 or 3 of them from different collections. They are the same you could get from the Samurai HP. They are available as PDFs there and those "catalogues" are just the print out of those PDF files.

My 710xx , started wearing these to work a few days ago and so far they have been taking a beating ( trying my best not to get them covered in oil )
