Soaking doesn't seem to get all the shrinkage out the way so go ahead and do a hot wash. Take the jeans out before the spin cycle and stretch the waist out a little while they're wet. Hang dry.

I agree with Aztec,

With all the issues people have been having with the Lot#10 waist sizing, it doesn't make sense to size down. get TTS or size up and shrink 'em down. I think you'll be much happier in the long run.

They WILL stretch, but at the same time, s710xx is kinda slim, so ur better off getting ur true size & shrink them to a snug fit, then buy them sized down, shrink them, and never be able to button them

I would listen to Aztec too, his s710's are pure awesomeness.
