In a somewhat unsurprising turn of events - I expect down to the self-imposed restriction to "only wear my 5150's for 18 months" - I have frantically cycled through all my favourite pairs more than I ever have done 😂

@julian-wolf was right back at the start, it was all big talk and no trousers

Anyway, I've returned to my 5150's and I am once again delighted with how comfortable they are, and the weight of the fabric. I'll share some more updates on mine soon.

I started wearing chinos for the first time ever, about 2 months after this comp started. Haven’t really worn other jeans that much, maybe a day a week, if that. The weather is starting to be ideal for this weight of denim too.

Thanks folks! Really pleased with how they’re wearing in so far. I do wish the cut was wider and higher, but the detailing is good and the denim is just lovely

It’s funny how loose and free these feel compared to my usual pairs - aside from my sized up 132s, that is.

It’s not that they feel restrictive or anything—besides the lower rise, they feel pretty similar to the SC ‘47, which have always fit me great as far as slim–straight (relative to my build) jeans go. I just generally prefer much wider and higher jeans, stylistically. After this contest, I wouldn’t be surprised if I spent a year wearing nothing but the M41027 and the M41058

Thants some crazy roping on the hem! 
weird how some hems rope and others don’t even on Union specials.

Unintended fourth wash and they surprisingly shrank a bit more especially in length and overall width despite being steady after washes 2 and 3. They actually fit quite perfect for me now though and tightened up in all the right places.

Hey all, it pains me to be posting this but I’ve decided to put my WoM jeans up for sale. I’ve come to accept they’re just not fitting me the way I want. On top of this, I’ve been dealing with an injury since the start of this year which eventually resulted in surgery a few weeks ago, so I just haven’t been in the jeans wearing headspace. Hoping these can find a home for somebody psyched on the contest since it’s still relatively early days.

I paid ~$350 USD for these and I’m asking $250 USD.

These have been worn less than 10 times total and have been machine washed and partially machine dried. Inseam may look a little short but I’m 5'11" and these easily hit my shoes uncuffed and with a small cuff.
