fit is great and also the double cuff looks good but hemming would make them really better

I too reckon that slimmer fits look better with a single cuff, hayashi san style. but you could still give a faux single cuff a try before choosing. it will look a little less bulky than the double cuff.

I had the same seam rip in the same spot on my FC 0105. I just had the seam restitched with polycore thread and it hasn't budged since.

Went to the custom office today to pick up my pair of Denime 25th Anniversary. the custum guy made me open the vacuum bag so...in the soak they go as we speak

The taper is crazy strong on those...7,5" raw on my size 34...but with sneakers, that's fine!

You crack me up b_F! Is the 25th anniversary a new release? Also, what cut are they - 66? They look like barracked back pockets with no hidden rivets.

Hej MF, no they are not a new release. They were released in 2013. Mr_Bielby also owns a pair
They are definitely '66 inspired with bartacks and ho hidden rivets. Medium/low rise, strong taper. Waist was quite huge. nearly 37" on size 34 but as they are worn on the hips, I guess that#s ok.

 

About the SC. Seul brought them to the post office on June 13th...but only yesterday they started to process them...so they are still in Belgium

The patch, low-rise, wide waist and the denim Itself are all reminiscent of details often found on Real McCoys jeans. As McCoys are Denime's new owner, perhaps this was them stamping their mark and serving a reminder of who the new boss is!

Well...about the patch, you are right. Also Warehouse had a similar one one day. The denim is really intresting. Just like mr_bielby said, smooth on the outside but rough on the inside...with lots of "horizontal falling" on the inside. Will take some beter pics once they are dry and i find the time

That 7.5" hem doesn't look as drastic as I would have expected, pairs well with the sneakers.

 

This might make me reconsider the evisu x warehouse.

 

Sort of on on topic, what was the reasoning behind Hayashi-san selling denime?

^^ I read somewhere that he just wanted to make and sell jeans rather than the other things denime made

I am not 100% sure if he really was the owner of Denime in the end, I think he was/is more of the head designer. And with resolute he wanted to concentrate again and simply doing jeans.

But of course I could be wrong in any case
